I didn't say it's necessary. I said that it's what I did and know works. No where have I said that more is necessary. I haven't tested changing only the rim. If that's enough, do it. I'm simply trying to get people who haven't been able to find their slots, finding them.
Yeah, so the ones that take primary, secondary and pearl, are wheel slots. The ones that take primary and secondary are wheel and pearl slots. And as I'm sure you can tell, you can use the ones that only take primary to make custom 2 tones.
The name is very confusing. Technically you want a primary, secondary, and pearl slot. Trust me, I was looking for the same thing as you when I first started trying to understand slots.
I personally filled my agency with all in game colored vehicles. Ie no types of crew colors.
Then I loaded in and bought surfers on c2. Then I left.
Then on c1 I changed their armor, the rims to street rims, and added a tire design.
Then I loaded back in, all the rims should be alloy color...
It seems the best place to find them maybe the agency, on a fresh account. I tested on one and found 2 wheel slots. 3 or 4 wheel and pearl slots. And 2 primary slots.
I've heard that on fresh accounts the agency slots are always the same, I personally don't know.
Maybe I'll do more testing and...
Also, I don't know why you would test one car at a time. You can test several at a time. On a fresh account you can find all the slots you need to build, with in an hour or two.
That method is well known. The speedo dead spot ends up being your dupe method. It's on the site. My video on car to car is nothing more than a variation of it.
Umm... You need to unlag barely before the save circle, if you aren't using console lock in netcut. If you unlag sooner you will generally be kicked before you complete your save.

Umm... If you want custom worn in save editor you just select the worn texture and then enter your custom rgb. Are you saying that worn colors with custom rgbs aren't possible? What reason is there for them to lie and say a matte is a worn? Sounds like those aren't save editor cars...
