Hey guys,
In the past year, my Xbox 360 Pro has been working fine until today. When I went to turn it on, it started giving me one red light, the e79 error, and a secondary error code of 1033. I managed to clear my HD cach and i did the eject-power button combination to remove the updates but...
What the heck does that have to do with my problem? It makes no sense..
Like I really care.
ANYWAY I found more ground points but still, nothing. And now, it seems like I'm going backwards because my computer now won't even regonize the flash controller. Does anyone else know what I can do?
problem is I can't solder to that point because it looks like for some reason the solder won't just melt. Thats why I need another one. The image I posted states that those motherboard revisions listed are for the jtag, not the LPT. LPT are the same for all motherboards.
All the wires are securely attached to the motherboard and the ground wire is in place. are there any other ground ports on the 360 I could try? I know of two; the ones in this image:
are there any other ones? I have a xenon.
So I just bought a used xbox 360 to JTAG it. First, of course, you have to dump the nand. So I opened up the Xbox and WHOA! Whoever had th xbox 360 before me completely f***** it up! There was hot glue everywhere and was almost impossible to solder to. Luckily, you can always solder to the back...
I would recomend this: http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-152/how_to_build_a_usb_nand_reader_for_a_jtaged_xbox_360-840770/
I do not think the you can read NAND with a card. I reasd that it oinly reads nand with a lpt port connected to the motherboard
and DressedtoKill's item will not work...
Would it be possible to reball with a heatgun? i mean, all it seams like you do is just heat up the GPU, take it off, re ball it, reheat it, and put it back on? I assume heat guns get that high a temp.
Could there be any other possible fix for my problem, besides the X-Clamp and heat gun? I want to see if theirs anything else I can do before i go and buy a heatgun.
