So about weeks ago, i bought a used reflowed 360. Yesterday, i was playing some AC Brotherhood and i notice that the screen just gets all messed up. There are black dots flashing all over the place. Last time this happened to me, I ended getting up E74, then RROD. I take apart the 360 apart to...
So i have this board here with error 0020. Nothing has worked to get it running again. My last resort is to do the oven reflow.
Few questions:
1. If i leave the 360 too long, will my 360 explode?
2.Is this safe?
3. Has anybody have any success with this method?
So i am thinking about buying one of the flashable 250GB hdds, but i have a few questions before i buy one.
1. Has anybody gotten banned from using a flashed hdd?
2. Can MS detect the drives over live?
Thank you ahead of time.
I have been reading up that I should replace the MOSFETs on the xbox to fix 0001. Has anyone ever performed this? I also read that some people just blew some compressed air in a few places and fixed the problem. Just a bit of an update. Suggestions and solutions are still welcomed in this thread.
I put the xclamps back on, but my problem still persists. When i turn the xbox on, the brick turns red then switches back quickly to orange. Three red lights come on and display error 0001, which didn't happen before my first post. Any help or suggestion is appreciated.
Hopefully it will work. Thanks so much.
Actually, i forgot to mention that whn i turn on the xbox with the new power supply, the power brick goes back to orange, but the lights still flash for 0001. If i do the xclamp fix, will it still possibly work?
I changed the power supply. Now i get 0001, but now it actually gives me the rrod. It's a start. However, i would like to figure out how to get this box running again. Thanks for the suggestion.
So i fixed this xbox that had rrod, then it broke again with rrod. Then i tried fixing it again, and now it does not even turn on. When i hit the power button, the power brick just turns red and the 360 does not turn on. Any ideas, fixes you can suggests? Pictures of the mobo will follow up.
Ok so i was doing the xclamp fix on one of these xboxs i own and my dogs ran into the table and caused the xbox to slide. After it slide, i heard a sizzling noise. I turn off the xbox and then it doesn't turn on anymore. The power brick turns red.
I'm assuming something shorted out, but what...
I recently got a 360 brand new with a manfu date of may 8, 2009. I have read that it will take 13 hours or more to just get one copy of the nand using lpt. I would like to know the fastest way to read this nand using an lpt cable. Thanks.
