I mean, the Lead Raid Designer called it Challenge Mode, and used lower case when referring to individual boss challenges, so those are subsets of Challenge Mode, you're debating the specifics of calling it their collective title vs the individual one that week. This is the first description of...
That was my one account I posted on, and even I can't access it any more because of their dumb re-linking of emails they did where you had to verify your microsoft/sony account even if you already used that as your login, at which point they locked me out of it even though it's still the same...
Unfortunately, that probably won't work now. Like I mentioned, I had originally done that with my old Bungie account for the shield of heroes, and up until TTK I could use it just fine, so your method would have worked...but as soon as that update hit in September the emblem became locked, and...
They're just going to lock it, they already mentioned on twitter they're looking into why the system decided everyone should get it.
It'll act like items you aren't high enough level for, or if you got items shared from a different bungie account. It'll be all greyed out and tell you you don't...
It's probably been there since TTK came out, mechanically it makes perfect sense. Clown Cartridge was put into the game from the start, when there was no cocoon. There was no reason to have a check 'which' weapon was reloading, the only one you could reload was the active one, so it would just...
I was talking about that as well. But since it's subjective if it's 'cheating' or not, and the company is not actively acting like it is, it's not very likely Microsoft would even think to look into it (or have a way to verify it happened) let alone take action on it. And I pointed out that...
Reports you for what, exactly? You can't get someone banned for playing a game in a way you dislike. Might as well report people for titan 'skating' because it seems like an unintended use of a mechanic. According to Bungie it's just a mechanic working in a way they didn't intend (a perk is...
I haven't seen anyone do it yet actually, which I guess shouldn't be surprising since the Y2 rockets put CC in the same slot as tracking and grenades&horseshoes, so no one would actually keep one without one of the alternate perks, for the most part. Played for a few hours the past couple of...
Yes, and the guy in that video doesn't appear to have his super either, no flashing yellow level, just has the super blade and perk still active. Which you can do while on a sparrow, if you switch to nightstalker while you have the bladedancer blade out on the sparrow, the blade stays active. An...
You're doing something wrong then. You pop a super as you get on, and it sticks around. Golden gun even let you fire them off while driving around. It only ends when you get off, or expire another condition (like firing off 3 gg shots). With any other super it seemed pointless, (never tried it...
My first guess would be to do the infinite super on a sparrow glitch, and then lag switch when you get off so it doesn't end the super like usual. Switching subclass while it's active seems to work while still on the sparrow, but if you just get off normally it ends. Might be worth checking out.
Pretty cool that it does that, overloading is fun. It's probably easier to just do the sword glitch if you want no weapon anywhere in the game instead of just this area though.
It seems like it's there mostly for the impatient, we're getting what up to 5 of them a week anyway, 1 without even playing anything? It can't drop weapons, and armor perks aren't really super essential, so no one's going to be able to make some OP character no matter how much they pay.
I guess...
I'm interested in what you did different, there must be some a timing window. I was sitting there on reset, watched the timer count down and picked up a new one. It appeared 'filled' in my inventory (yellow border) but wouldn't let me turn it in, after a couple minutes it went from filled to...
You can do it from anywhere once you load the cellar, I usually stop at the top of the hill as soon as it says I loaded the area. All areas of the game work like this, if you kill yourself right when you enter them they each have a 'default' location it brings you.
It's part of the backwards...
You can be referred within 7 days of buying The Taken King, so for those 7 days you're both a Vet and able to be referred to. Refer-a-Friend FAQ.
So this is perfectly normal.
That was my first thought as well for xbox, since you can access it by making an alt account on the same system. But I have a feeling it won't work, since their FAQ says:
Q: Can I access Refer-a-Friend if I am playing Destiny through console sharing features?
A: Bungie does not support console...
