My 3rd party is a wireless controller with a receiver in the USB port. I could try swapping ports, but there's no cord for that.
Unless you meant try a different cord for the DS4.
The controller is recognized, it says it's Player 1. But pressing the PS button does nothing, so I cannot get past "Connect the controller using a USB cable, and then press the PS button".
Same happens when I try and hook up a DS4, despite it also being a Sony controller.
As stated in the title (not trying to sound rude, just saying), it's 80010006.
Also, I'm just going to go in the one time to set up the downloads. I'm aware of the risk, but at this point in the PS3 life cycle there might be 3 or 4 games (one of which I already pirated just to see if I could) I...
Even with PSNinja and PSN Patch disabling CFW syscalls?
Also, how should I reinstall my games then? I've only pirated 1 PS2 and 1 PS3 game to test that I could but even with Webman I can only load 1 at a time and it seems to put that game in the disc slot. I'd like to access all my old games as...
Had to run a Quick Format to get the web exploit to take hold on my PS3. Now I have Ferrox+Cobra on 4.82.
However, I'm trying to get back my purchased games. I run options 1,2,3 on PSNinja, then perform the PSN Patch (tried both from the XMB application and the plug in), and try to get on it...
VERY IMPORTANT TO EVERYONE WHO IS HAVING TROUBLE GETTING PAST 70-SOMETHING %:
FORMAT YOUR SYSTEM.
Forgive me for the all-caps, but this needs to be seen by those who are having the same problem I had for ages.
Back up your important saves, prepare to re-download your legit games. Quick...
It often fails a couple times, it's not the stablest just yet. Make sure you're using the right one for your system and just keep trying. I bookmark the page with the final button myself.
Those are the symptoms of a failing power supply. My PS3 did that months ago. Chances are your power supply was already failing. I think I got it replaced for $20 and installed the replacement myself easily.
Ok, great. Care to tell me how I'm messing it up then?
I am using a NOR system compatible with the exploit, and using the NOR exploit. I bookmarked the page (with the button saying Write to #### Flash Memory) that is being self-hosted. My PS3 is tethered to the router via ethernet.
I turn the...
From what I understand: Run all homebrew offline and run PSNPatch or similar homebrew before signing into PSN. Your console should appear like any other.
Literally cannot find another possibility besides the existence of my 3rd party controller.
My system is supported. I'm using the proper version of the exploit for my system.
I'm using a USB 2.0 drive (granted it has a bunch of my roommate's stuff on it)
I'm using an ethernet connection
I'm...
Well, with ethernet, while self-hosting, and unplugging my 3rd party controller the MOMENT I hit the button for the exploit, I still cannot get past 71%.
