This episode will walk you through how to find the information and view the information on the site as if it were v7. This will show you how to make it easier to browse the site and find what you are looking for. It will also show you how your favorited games work.
Text Tutorial:
Popular games - Scroll over any popular game and you will see a menu pop up. Each icon is related to different sections in the games section. Click one of them, it will take you to that section auto filtering out the game you were hovering over, only displaying threads based on that game. Go a littler further by selecting one of the prefixes to filter out the content that you are looking for, now you have only the information in front of you that your little heart desires.
Once a game is filtered out, you can click the gray'd out game folder button (sorry, tool tip is coming soon). Click that and add it to one of your favorites slots or your game library. If it's a favorite game, it will now appear in the games drop down. Once it is there, click the game from the games drop down and you will get a "jump to" menu to any of those sections for that game to be auto filtered. Again, use the advanced filter on the side to narrow down your results.
In any of the sections, you can start typing in a game and click it when it appears. You can then filter it further with the prefixes, or you can skip selecting a prefix and just click filter. This will pull up all the information we have for that game in that section (without prefix clicked, with prefix, will only show you the prefix for that game in that section). If this is a game that you will be visiting often, be sure to favorite at the top in the game description section.
Be on the look out for more videos to show you how to use more features on the site.
I think this does a good job at covering the basics of the filtering feature. I'm sure with everyone getting into it, we'll even get some neat ideas for improvements.

Yup! I was just talking to a member and just came up with a new idea for the game library that I hope we can implement soon. Game Library can almost act like a customized v7, the way I'm thinking about it. You add the game to your library, go to your library page (bookmark it in the browser) and then it have links to all the different game forums filtering that game out for you.
