Computer will run games like BF4 and TitanFall fine with the 13.** drivers but when I update to any of the 14.** drivers the computer starts to stutter or some times freezes any where from a few seconds to up to a minute. I uninstall them and reinstall the 13.** drivers and the problems go away. My bios and other mobo drivers are up to date it, it only happens with the 14.** drivers and I would really like to use Mantle

. I've seen a lot of people having issues similar to mine with 14.** drivers and not the 13.**, but i have yet to see any real solutions to it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit

*AMD FX-9370 Eight Core Vishera 220W Black Edition running at 5.0 GHz (problem still there at default values)
*16 GB of Corsair XMS3 RAM (1600 Duel Channel, problem still there with it set at 1333)
*ASUS AMD Radeon R9 270x TOP Over Clock Edition Direct CU II W/2 GB of GDDR5 V-RAM (soon to be duel cards)
*ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 ATX Mother Board with an AMD 990FX North Bridge and a AMD 950FX South Bridge
*Cooler Master Hyper N520 Duel Fan CPU Cooler
*Thermaltake Level 10 GT Full Tower ATX Case W/Fan Filters
*Duel 1TB Raid Western Digital HDD
*Corsair TX750 Watt PSU
*Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Sound Card

From what I have read it looks like they are not compatible At this point with the 14 a fix may come in the future. But as of right now it looks like there is none.

Either downgrade or try the beta versions man, those are really your only options.

Yeah, I have been downgrading after every attempt of using the updated drivers. How ever I'm attempting to use the new 14.7 beta, so far so good. every updated version of the 14.** drivers get a little better and better (or at least take longer to to start messing up, haha) so I'll try this out for a little and see what happens.

Yeah, AMD/ATI tends to have that issue, usually the beta is more stable than the general release (although that's not always true).
Hope it works for you!

Well it was working... started doing it again if mantle is turned on. if i run in DirectX11 the stuttering goes away. It's weird, it's not like it's under any heavy load when it happens. The stuttering is completely random while in the game. I have read recently that some video cards that come overclocked from the factory (like my ASUS R9 TOP series video card) may have a communication issue with mantle, which is kinda ironic as that's one of the things that mantle is supposed to help with. I'm not too keen on down throttling my factory speeds.
