That's what I'm running now,
Can I just upgrade my graphic card to a NIVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 with 2 GB Ram on my HP Pavillion? In order to play DayZ StandAlone on steam?
Or do I have to upgrade my processors?

You may not be able to upgrade that laptop.
I didn't even know the Pavilion was a laptop...

OP: Laptops are borderline impossible to upgrade. You're best bet for gaming is just building yourself a new rig.
Its a desktop not laptop

I do aha. I have 2 desktops 2 laptops
Oh, nvm then. So you are probably going to need a new PSU if you want a new GPU, and you also may need a new case. What is your current computer?

Well, if you need to get a 650 then you will also need to get a new PSU, because your current power supply is a bit lower than what a 650 needs.

If you can, I would get a 750 ti. This way there you won't need a new PSU. Even with a 750ti though, your frames would probably drop below 30 (unplayable) at some parts in the DayZ SA

So for those two things roughly how much would it come out to be?

Oh, I thought you said the 650 not the 560. In that case, you probably are best off with getting a 270x and 500w PSU, coming in around $250 total.

He isn't wrong, but you don't necessarily have to upgrade your PSU, given that you have a 6-pin connector available for it. The base model R9 270 will only pull about 150 watts max, if it's overclocked.

This one actually comes with an adapter so you don't need that cable. As long as your PSU is 250+ (which it likely is) you should be good to go.
