HEY I HAVE THIS CHIP INSTALLED BUT I CANT UPDATE THE NAND WHY I AM FACING GREEN CENTER FLASHING LIGHT ISSUE AND UNRESPONSIVE DVD DRIVE

sorry no knowledge of spoofing a drive would you please give some details i think its done by connecting the drive to pc with some jungleflasher thing but what type of device would connect it to pc

No offense, but with that question being asked, I suggest you send it to someone to do for you if you really want it done.

To answer the question though, JungleFlasher is the software you would use. As to how you connect it to a pc, there are options. Most suggest X360USB Pro.

Hi guys,
I'm doing my first installation on Trinity. I used J-Runner 0.3.4, and done the following:
1. read the NAND, several times, compared - OK
J-Runner v0.3 Beta (4) Started

Of course I re-checked all the wires (used a beeper between the opposite side of PCB soldering points and the MTX Nand flasher points), also I tried it from 2 different comps (Win7 and XP) but the result is the same. The interesting thing is that when I reading the NAND after that write and compare it with the ECC image they are almost identical - the differences are starting at offset 0x8600 and occurs every 0x210 bytes (i.e. 0x8810, 0x8A20,...) by the same schema: 2 bytes which are always just swapped, e.g. 00 02 vs. 02 00 then comes 10 bytes which are the same in both files as well as in all further difference block, then 4 bytes which differs.

I suppose that these may be some address values, so it may be OK, and the write errors are false. Could somebody confirm this?

4. So I continued with connecting the X360Run chip (set the jumpers, replaced the cap with 220p), but after turning the Xbox on (with the chip connected and NAND flasher disconnected), the led on the chip is not flashing - it doesn't turn on at all.

What may be the problem? Should I tune e.g. the wire lengths or jumper settings - or the problem is something different if the led on the chip is not lights?

How do you get to watch Xell boot on your PC? I can see you are using a network cable but what else is involved?

I looked at your video again and see that you have a capture card. So I assume you output the xbox video to your PC's capture card.

I have just installed this chip in a Trinity 10.83A. I am getting a red light even before the glitch chip lights up. I tried installing a 10K resistor accross D and ground but I am still getting the red light. I have checked my soldering and chip timing settings and they look fine. Am I missing something?

FAO 2Quick4U (or somebody who understands about the different kinds of capacitors).

I will soon be having a go at fitting one of these x360run glitcher chips to my Trinity (I'm just waiting for delivery).

I will also be buying a 220pF capacitor and a 270pF capacitor to swap with the board’s original 330pF capacitor.

I've noticed that on the datasheet (on your first post) that it says the 330pF capacitor is a "Monolithic" capacitor. However in your video I noticed you replaced the original 330pF Monolithic capacitor with a Ceramic 270pF capacitor (see 8mins 15sec in your video). Could this cause problems or are Monolithic capacitors and Ceramic capacitors interchangeable?

just use a 270 pf and you will be fine

It appears that since you wrote this tutorial, the manual on the X360run website has changed from the screen prints on your original post.

For a Trinity 10.83 model (the type I've got) they are now suggesting you use a 150pF capacitor and a 20pF capacitor.

Another change is on page 4, where there is something in terrible English, about fitting a 10K-20K "metal-wire" resistor between pad D and GND on the x360run board. A wire wound resistor is a type or resistor that makes its resistance by a wire wound around in a circle
The length the wire in the resistor changes the resistance.
But as far as the tut goes the one I made is for the yellow x360run chip
The new tut is for the red x360run 1.1 chip
As far as a trinity and corona v1,2,3,4 goes the old tut works just fine with the new red x360run 1.1 but you also have to remove the m2 jumper for these models.
