well I have a samsung smart tv in the living room which detects my usb stick as I can watch films ect.... via the thumb drive.
When plugging it in the smart tv it pops up and all I have to press is okay which directs me to my thumb drive.

The problem is, I have a samsung tele in my bedroom which also comes with usb slots, but some strange reason this tv does not detect the same usb stick even though it works in the samsung tele in my living room. Is there a way to get it to work in my bedroom tele at all?

The thumb drive obviously works as it works in the smart tv and its formatted to fat32 on my macbook pro.

The tv that the usb stick is not working on is model number:

22" C450 LCD TV - LE22C450E1W

cheers peeps.

This is the exact tv i have only a later model, And i know mine doesnt support movie playback (Mine says SyncMaster T200HD at the top)
OT: I think the tv just doesnt support usb playback. A lot of tv have usb ports for whatever reason dont support playback.
It lists on the site it supports USB(movie)
If you sure this is the correct tv try to put the movie file on the root of your usb

Have you seen if your USB stick is compatible with USB 3.0 as the TV might not be able to recognize it.

how do I put it on the root?
The root is where the thing inatialy opens for instance
F:/
Its the main folder of the drive
for instance if you put it in "F:/Movies" you didnt put it in the root ( F:/"Anything kind of folder" Also F can be D E G all kinds of letters)
