my specific issue is that i use standard old skooll gta aiming but have noticed its not the same lately. used to be you could pull aim trigger and use right stick to change targets. i find that very helpful when in a firefight with a random and surrounded by police. here recently instead of clicking over to next target, it just goes to free aim. can someone explain the difference in standard gta aim vs assisted aim so i can pick which is best for me w/out trial n error please??

Nope you cant, the only way for you to lock onto a player is let go of aim button, then press it again near the player

which mode of firing are u using?
I tried them all, none do what you want, the only difference between them is how close you have to be for lockon to work

But right now im on freeaim, much better online
