Hi guys I haven't made a tutorial in ages so thought i might give something else to people that may be useful to some.

So Forza horizon's title updates remove all abilities to mod on a title update like gamedb.slt. What you are going to need is:
The title update that works with your game
winrar (not really recommended)
windows
Horizon tool (or any other program that can extract title updates)
Your games 3 xex's.
xex tool
quickbms or forza studio (to extract zips)

Extract the title update contents. You'll get 3 xexp's + media.zip.
Open up xex tool and patch all 3 xex's with the right xex patch file.
Extract the contents of media.zip with either a quickbms script or the unpacker tool in forza studio.
Once extracted you'll get a bunch of folders and files which patch over the original game files such as gamedb.slt. Now you're free to edit this db and do what ever you want.
When you have finished modding the files and placing in correct folders, Highlight all folders then right click, send to, compressed (zipped) Folder. Name it media.zip
Place the 3 patched xex's and the media.zip in the root of forza horizon then run as usual from default.xex. Also make sure to patch the gamedb in the xex that i have said in a previous tutorial.

Have fun.

I patched the xex's with xextool and put the unmodded media.zip in the root directory but I'm not quite sure if I'm doing it right because I get the fatal crash error when I try to load the game.

I did exactly as OP instructed, but when I try to launch the game in Xenia, it crashes ("The guest has crashed. Xenia has now paused itself."). Does anyone know why?
