  1. Budget - I have two. 700€ and 1000€ (1000 is everything I own and if the 700 build is sufficient Id prefer that)
  2. Use's - Gaming, possibly recording and maybe editing, but that's a maybe.
  3. Time Frame - I have no real time frame, I might wait until the sale to buy it though.
  4. Part Preferences - None really, anything good
  5. Color code - Black, maybe a bit of red or blue, idk really, black overall though.
  6. How many monitors will you game on? I can go with one but I'd like the ability to use two in case I need to multitask like a baws.
  7. Peripherals - Leave this for now, I can pick these up myself for a lot cheaper.
  8. Special Requests - I'm going to be using this mainly for gaming but I want to record my gameplay and maybe edit it, so it needs to be able to do all that no problems. I also download a lot so like 2tb should do the trick.

Sorry if that was confusing, also I'm in Ireland so I'll probably have to buy from an EU/UK website/company

Here sir. Kept it as 850~ gpb mark, thats near 1000E.

If you want to oc, you could go for a closed loop cooler such as nzxt kraken or corsair h80i, but didnt want to go overbudget without getting a cheaper mobo. I guess you could do that if you wanted to for example.

What are everyone elses thoughts.

Oh right, well I mean, I know nothing about that. Is it something I should be doing or...?

Well, if you dont know what youre doing i woukd first visit some guides and whatnot to see if its something you want to do in future.

Its not necessary as cpu is fine at stock speeds also. The first build Should be better. If that msi motherboard is too much then you can get the one in second build. Infact if youre not Ocing i should change it for the cheaper one.

Wait for others opinions too.

All right thanks for the help, I'll be waiting for more opinions anyway since I'll likely be buying the parts over time.

Sobriquet Sobriquet made it cheaper w/o sacrifing performance if youre not going to OC, http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/2oDCF

Also buying parts over a long time, not recommended as there are always new and better parts out, its better to save all money then spend it in one go.

Well I mean it won't be a really long time, it just won't be all in one go or it might be, I haven't decided yet.

Long time is anything over few (1-2 months imo) months

Oh thats fine. Thought you meant months, mybad

Out of the two graphics cards you picked, the MSI and the Gigabyte, which is better?

Also is 8GB RAM enough for everything?

Both gtx 770. Just cooler thats different. Probably a 1-2 frame difference. Both same. I would recommend gigabyte one as its cheaper and still excellent.

Yes 8 gb ram is more than enough.

Do I win guys?

I got it right around your minimum budget without sacrificing performance at all. Only things you could change would be a 750W PSU instead (incase you plan to SLI in the future), add an SSD (for the OS so around 120GB enough for it and a couple programs), or get a closed loop cooler instead of the hyper 212 evo.

I went AMD to keep the price down a bit, but it'll perform just fine. 8GB is ram will be more than enough for gaming, and I am a firm believer in overclocking as long as you have adequate cooling and you aren't going for extreme overclocks it won't hurt anything. Some people say it decreases the life of your CPU but honestly by the time it would cause any real damage you should've already replaced the CPU anyways.

You dont need that much vram for 1080p gaming on 1 and multitasking on other, debateable wether is worth extra 50£! If gaming on both then yes worth it. You could go with 8350 as its factory clocked higher since adzee doesnt seem to want to oc. (.5 ghz makes a big difference on 8350) (temps will be fine with that cooler).

It is cheaper than the build i made  although so thats plus.

Windowed case is cool but not nessesary .
