I recently purchased a Xbox 360 E model to replace my Slim. I only bought the 4GB since I just wanted to be held over until I decide to upgrade to a One. I am wanting to use a 1TB HDD for it so I can hold all my on demand games and DLC, but also for my extra data from my laptop. Maybe a 50/50 allocation? So what would be a good HDD for me?

If im not mistaken the only size drive you can go upto UNLESS your console is a RGH/Jtag is a 320GB. Once you plug the 1 TB in you will have to format it to a i believe a 32GB. Hope this helped!

So I'd only be able to use up to 320 GB for the Xbox? Not too much of a problem. Thanks for that bit of info.

I have seen people use 500 GB on retail consoles. But you have to do the format from your computer with the 3rd party apps. It is an internal hard drive right ?

My current HDD is the standard 250 GB from my old Slim. I'm planning on buying a external to use for both my Xbox and laptop.
