This just in everyone, macbuildserver has been closed for good so there is no way to get this without a jailbreak...I will keep this thread open so people that have this app with a paid apple dev account or jailbreak can use it.

I need someone to go test this, go to emu4ios.weebly.com on your iDevice and check to see if it works without changing your date. Please check and report what happens in the comments.

it appears that GBA4ios is no longer working here and here

There is a possible fix. If you already have GBA4iOS and the mobileprovisioning file from MacBuildServer installed on your device, you can set the date on your iDevice to before July 16th. It might work, but I have been getting mixed reports. If you do not, you can do to this site on your iDevice and download it from there. There are also instructions listed before you download the application.

The dev behind GBA4iOS, rileytestut, has added a very nice little button to his Github. Basically what it does is send you to an online service called MacBuildServer. This service will sign applications with their own Enterprise Certificates completely free of charge to the user.

This works on iOS 7 Beta 6.

For those of you who want to skip right to getting the app just click here on your iDevice.

For those of you who care and would like a bit more background, keep reading...
The Enterprise Certificate Program is a special program very much like the Paid Apple Dev program except with a couple differences:
1. It costs $299 per year to be registered in the program.
2. Any person can use this certificate without having a UDID registered.

It seems pretty nice, but it's very costly. I'm not sure how long this service will be up so get this app while you still can.

Note: Due to extremely high server loads, MacBuildServer is temporarily unavailable. Keep trying to get the app, I suggest trying it a couple times a day until you are able to download and install the app.

Note 2: If it says the service is unavailable, go ahead and click through the options anyway. It will install on your iDevice.

Here is another way to install it (note, you have to have the certificate on your iDevice first, the only way to do that is to download it from the link above on your iDevice first):
1. Download the .ipa file from here (the file is from MacBuildServer, I just put it on my computer. If the link dies, let me know and I will replace it with an updated link or if the app doesn't install...that just means the embedded.mobileprovision file is outdated).
2. Download and install iFunbox for either Mac or Windows.
3. Run iFunbox with the iDevice connected to the computer.
4. Click the iDevice name on the left hand side after you click on the first tab.
5. Click "Install App" located on the top tool bar.
6. Double click on the .ipa file you downloaded from the link above.
7. Let it finish and you are set to go.

I may as well throw in a guide for how to use this app so I don't have to keep explaining it to people.

1. Download the app.
2. Open the app.
3. Click "Continue" if a pop up comes up.
4. Click the magnifying glass in the top right corner, it will open safari.
5. Click CoolRoms or search for your own ROM downloading site. (some people have reported problems with CoolRoms...but I haven't had any...)
6. Once you find the ROM you want, scroll down and find the download button.
7. Click download ONCE and wait for the new page in safari to load, the page loading bar at the top is pretty much the download progress bar.
8. One the download is done, you should see the file name (usually it will saying something like "ROM name.zip". In the top right hand corner there is a button that says "Open in GBA4iOS", click it.
9. Click on the ROM and you are good to go.

If you don't like how the ROM is named, you can press and hold on the name and a window will pop up so you can change it.
Note: So far it seems you can only play .GBA roms and .GB roms...no support has been released for .GBC roms...hopefully it will come up soon along with support for cheats.

Second guide...this one is for getting .GB roms to work on the emu. Apparently the emu automatically opens .zip ROMs in the GBA emulator not the GBC emulator so what you have to do is unarchive the ROMs and drop it in via SSH.

This has to be done on the computer:
1. Download the .GBC/.GB ROM you want.
2. If it is in .zip format, unarchive it and drag out the .GBC/.GB file.
Note: if you want to play a ROM with a .gbc extension, you have to change it to .gb before injecting it to the device through iFunbox.
3. Download and install iFunbox. Click here for windows and here for mac.
4. Open iFunbox while the iDevice is connected to the computer.
5. Click on the iDevice name in the left hand menu.
6. Double click User Applications.
7. Double click GBA4iOS (it may show up as a folder or as the image on the iDevice).
8. Double click Documents.
9. Drag and drop the ROM you wanted into this menu.
10. Go back on to the app and pull to refresh or close the app out of multitasking and open it again.

Time for another tut, this one will help you import save states from other emulators:
1. Get your save file from another emulator or download it.
2. Name it exactly like the game, for example, if you want to add a save for pokemon emerald you will name the .svs file "Pokemon Emerald0.svs" (without the quotes). This will make your save state available in the first slot, if you want to add more, name them accordingly.
3. Open iFunbox or iTunes Home Sharing.
4. On iFunbox, locate the Documents directory (click device name, double click User Applications, double click GBA4iOS, double click documents) or locate the documents folder (if using iTunes Home Sharing) and drag and drop the .svs file you just named.
5. Open GBA4iOS and the save state should be in the first slot.

This also works if you would rather not use the Home Sharing function in iTunes. If you do choose to use iTunes, you would just click on the Applications tab and scroll down to Home Sharing, click on GBA4iOS, drag and drop the ROMs you want in the right hand menu, sync it up, and you're good to go.

If you guys would like pictures to go along with this please visit the thread by Mocking Da Bird here: http://www.se7ensins.com/forums/threads/how-to-play-pokemon-on-your-phone.1029526/

Costs way too much for what it does imo

Oh I know, it's insane how much money people pay for this stuff. My friend has a paid Apple dev account, but he actually used it to release a couple apps on the app store. The money he brings in from the apps pay the $99/year so he can keep the dev account, otherwise he wouldn't have it.

Search button top right. And just looking for a download button. Lol
After you click the search button go to cool roms website. Then find a rom you want and tap on the name. Then scroll down until you see download. It will ask you if you're sure you want to download it or something like that. Also Tabuu Tabuu told me if it has a funky name with different characters in it then change the name before opening it.

That is the way to do it without iTunes. This app is supposed to work with iTunes home sharing so you can try if you are up for syncing your iDevice. Basically you just go to the apps tab in iTunes, scroll down to home sharing, click on GBA4iOS, drag and drop the ROMs you want installed in the zone to the right of the app then sync it all up.

Off topic: Spyro I know you wanted this.

That site gives you a zip and you can't unzip easily with not jailbroken device and place the rom there so just do it on the computer.

I have the Signed GBA4iOS, it automatically unzipped for me and play roms straight on iPod Touch 5G (nonjailbroken because my sister pressed update 6.1.3).

Ya, the ROMs work just fine for me too...I have done it with and without a computer, either way they work just fine.

Didn't work for me, it downloaded a zip file so I had to unpack it with iFile, it's probably something I have installed

Did you do it through the search function on GBA4iOS?
Supposedly the newest version has support for zipped ROMs.

Just curious, what ROM were you trying to download? I want to see if it works on mine without a jailbreak.

Pokemon Emerald

That's funny...it's the first one I downloaded after I used this copy of GBA4iOS on my unjailbroken 4S, and it worked just fine...there could be a package that is interfering with it, but as long as you got everything taken care of, it's fine.

I think it depends on the website xD. I tried a different site and it worked for me.

That could be a factor. I used CoolRoms to get it. I used other sites to get my other ROMs and those all work just fine.

CoolRom and DopeRoms refuse to work for me. But RomHustler and FreeRoms work for me without a jailbreak
