I'm replacing my Nvidia gt 610 with a radeon hd 7770. My TV won't display anything with the radeon card connected. I see no BIOS or anything.

If I take out the radeon card and use onboard or Nvidia graphics, it starts normal. Also, if I connect both Nvidia graphics card and the radeon card, I get a normal display through my nvidia card (did this to test if it is a power issue).

Specs:

Intel I3 processor.
650W PSU.
Radeon HD 7770 (I think 450W).
500GB hard drive.
8GB RAM.

Did you forget to connect power to the power connector to the video card?

I was waiting for an answer like this :/
Question, not answer. And I ask because some people don't realize some video cards need more power.
Have you tried it in a different slot (if you have one)? You could try resetting the CMOS, I doubt it would help, but it's worth a shot.
Maybe the card is just faulty.

I've tried everything but the CMOS.

Has anyone ever experienced having a PSU that didn't have enough power for the Gaphics Card?

Try doing an external build and seeing if it works, maybe your case is too small and the card is not all the way in the slot?

Given your power supply is of decent quality, it shouldn't be it. 650W is more than enough for a 7770 seeing as it only has a TDP of 80W - or in and around there. Does your card power on by any chance? Do you hear a POST beep?

My motherboard doesn't have this feature.

I was told my PSU was bad due to the brand being bad quality (CIT). I bought a new PSU today and it still doesn't work (getting money back tomorrow). I rang amazon just now and they're sending out a new radeon.

If the new one doesn't work, then I'll buy a corsair PSU.

Well that's good to hear, I guess. Although you never answered my question - did the card power on at all? Corsair power supplies are very good. If you're on a somewhat strict budget, you could get one in the CX or GS series.

The Graphics Card turns on fine. If I don't have the power cable in, the LED on the back of the card turns red... having the power in makes it turn green, so it is detecting power cables etc...
