So on Tuesday, my Macbook Pro 13 inch (2011 model) decided it would stop copying and pasting. Command+c and command+v do absolutely nothing, the same goes for right clicking, copying, then pasting. I even paid $.99 for an app called iCopy in hopes that it would fix my problems. It didn't.

Also, after researching this online, I found that people that had this problem couldn't drag and drop either. I tried to drag an icon that was on my desktop, nothing happened. I tried to drag a tab in Firefox, nothing. I tried to drag a folder in Finder, nothing.

In those other topics that people had trouble with this, I found that their Spotlight wouldn't work, mine still does. The only topics I could find were for other OS', not Lion (I'm running Lion btw, sorry I didn't mention it earlier.

Does anyone have a solution or a fix or something?
Please?

Thanks,
Chris

From what I have read, this problem is three years old. The fact that Apple is aware of it and it is still occurring is just pathetic.

Like everyone else said, you have only a few options:
  • Reinstall the OS X
  • Call Apple and ask for help (do this 1st)
  • Dual boot with Ubuntu (Mac sucks anyway )

I refuse to reinstall lol.

I'll call Apple sometime soon hopefully, and I'll let you guys know how it works out.

I do have Windows on it, so I could in theory just use that, but I use Mac OS for certain things, and Windows doesn;t run as well on a Mac as it does on a PC
