Are all of the Xam's in every, or most NAND's the same? Pretty much I am asking if I make a kxam patch will it work on all/most consoles?
Except the next one right?It is different for each dash version.

Well, it's for getting JTAG's online.I don't see a point in updating to the latest dash.
But the kxam patch won't need to be edited, most likely.9199 != 12611
9199 != 8955
12611 != 12625
When they update the dash they add new features to the XAM. They always differ.

Isn't it impossible not to have the xam get bigger or smaller? Because your patching it you are putting in, or taking away code. Right? +rep btw.yeah it will.. the kxam.patch tells where dashlaunch needs to make changes in the xam(or kernal). If the xam gets bigger or smaller, then the offsets will change.

Ok, thanks a ton. Just one more question if you don't mind. How do I find the checks and stuff in IDA? Like where would I look? What.. offset, or whatever its called. I know it will be different for every check though.no every dash update changes the xam.xex size and messes up the offsets, sorry if i mis-said it. the kxam patch actually edits the file on boot, so that the file doesn't get corruted and give you an E-79 error.
