So I've been told by 2 people now that the 2nd level of compression of the ff's is called LZO compression so I went to the developers website and sent them and email. Heres a copy of the email.

Hi I have a file with the extension of .ff, now usually I use a program called FF Viewer to open .ff files but the file I have now cant be opened with FF Viewer because it has been compressed with LZO compression. Any information regarding how to open this file would be great. Here is a link to FF Viewer's website. I have attached a .ff file should you need it.

Thanks in advance,
Dalton

Here's the developers website. Site
Think it will work?

Why would you bother some random developer with something like this over a rumor you heard? Why not do some actual research yourself rather than emailing everyone and their mom?

By tracking down the developers website and taking the time to email them id say Im putting forth some effort. And I've already tried everything I know to open them myself which was basically just opening them in a hex editor which obviously didnt work. But maybe you'd care to share with us what you've done to open them?
