It is I was just playing with it... That one I posted was just my fave because it turns the sniper rifle into a Machine Gun only problem is that it drains ammo sooo fast that you would need either soldier or hunter ammo regeneration for it to be worth while...wow, if that gun is usable u have just opened up soo many possibility;s of gun modding.
Any other itemgrade will make the level be 0 so your gonna have to hex it no matter what... trust me i first made it without switching and all the guns I made did like 30 damage... then I remembered Harbringer told me to use scorpio :lol:Does it need scorpio itemgrade or can it be another as long as there is no grip or manufacturer?

The combination of scorpio itemgrade and smg weapon-type dont seem to work.
Ill give it a try
I don't think so because there are not manufacture specific parts on shields or class mods and the attributes are directly linked to the body so removing that would probably make it do nothing at all.Idea: Would this work on items?! Like class mods?! :w00t:

This is a new way to make pretty interesting and unique weapons all credit goes to Harbinger1777 who told me how to do this earlier today.
So basically what you do is make the itemgrade scorpio and then remove the manufacture
Now you can mix in as many manufacture specific parts you want
Lastly open your save with a hex editor and change your gun level to 61 or 70 or whatever you prefer.
Below is an example weapon
although I don't have a pick I can assure you this works, I have personally tested it.
and these are the effects of this particular gun
-damage varies with level
-55 round clip
-fully automatic
-5 round burst while scoped
-4x shock

Can this let you use machine gun parts on a sniper or is it just unique parts for that weapon type?
Edit: Can you put more than one type of part or just 1 of each? e.g Having the sledges shotgun barrel and barrel 3 carnage?
