The pictures above show an unobtainable color I managed to come across doing a wheel and pearl merge onto to a two tone /magic slot (the ASBO). I’ve had this happen before and I think it has something to do with the textures/tones of the donor car(the worn looking jeep) not matching up with the car it’s merging onto.

Does anyone here know what’s going on or how to control these types of anomaly’s??
I’d also really like to see pictures of random colors y’all have came across ^_^

So let me ask you a question. The BF injection was you C1 car?
And the Seminole Frontier was your C2 car?

Yes that’s correct and the asbo is my service car /on magic slot
Try it on other magic slots and see if you get same results
Also is that Unselected purple matte schafter purple? Or is it darker?
Post automatically merged:

When merging on any type of magic slot you have to have both cars have some type of crew manipulated paint on the same components. Other wise youll end up stripping the modded paint off the car on C2.

Ok I’ll remember that and yeah it’s darker than Schafter it doesn’t match any purple at lsc . Someone told me it’s the hex code from the Seminole but “ defaulted “ idk .

I've had something similar happen to me today. Using the service car merge, I merged the paint and pearl from an Astron with a light blue beff paintjob onto my wheel slot (nebula turbo), then merged the wheels I wanted onto it. From there I had planned on taking the wheel and pearl and putting it onto another paint altogether, but I ended up with something kinda cool. The vehicle with donor wheel color had gasoline green paint.

I believe that the black is coming from the base coat from my friend who made the beff paintjob, and the pearl is shining through. Everything is unselected, and when you hover over crew in primary, only the primary paint is selected. Same for secondary, so it doesn't appear to be a crew/beff paintjob at all.

This is because your car on c1 is 2 tone in-game colors... Your car on c2 is full RGB..
Car on c2 needs to be a in game 2 tone to properly transfer the paint from c1 to c2. This is why you get the rim color and pearl from c2 and c1 strips the paint to a selected in-game color. Needs to be painted properly on c2 to transfer from c1
Post automatically merged:

To add rims and pearl to the BF, you would need a 2-tone in game car on c2 with unselected wheel color and pearl.... Or just a car with unselected wheel color and paint it with an lsc color that has an unselected pearl and secondary another lsc color. C2 is now unselected pearl and rim. Texture does not matter on c2 as long as its painted correctly. Texture and color come from c1. And rim and pearl come from c2
Post automatically merged:

With this, you can fix scratched rim and pearl colors or completely change them

Method 1- simple pearl fix.

Dupe the car onto a magic slot you want to fix the pearl on.

SAVE and start up c2

C2 you will take that same car to lsc and apply a paint that has an unselected pearl.

After that you then need to paint the car the same way your c1 car is painted
TEXTURE DOES NOT MATTER FOR C2.

If your car is full RGB, apply the paint with the unselected pearl then paint it crew

If you have a 2 tone. You must apply crew where the RGB is on c1 and an in game color where your unselected in-game color is on c1.

Again.... Texture does not matter on c2. Just the pearl you want and that the car is painted correctly!

Once you have everything set up on c2, get your save.

On c1 you are going take the car into LSC and change your rims to a different rim category.

Buy ammo and get a save and exit to story.

If done correctly when returning to online you car will come back as was with a unselected pearl. You will need to merge your Benny/F1 wheels back to it.

Method 2- Change rim and pearl color

Dupe the car onto a magic slot you want to change the rim and pearl colors.

SAVE and start up c2

C2 you will dupe/gctf the car that you want to take the pearl and rim color from over the car from c1.

!!!THE CAR YOU TAKE ON C2 NEEDS TO BE PAINTED THE SAME AS C1. IF ITS FULL RGB ON C1, C2 NEEDS TO BE FULL RGB. IF ITS 2 TONE ON C1, C2 HAS TO BE A 2 TONE ALREADY!!!

TEXTURE DOES NOT MATTER FOR C2. JUST THE WAY IT'S PAINTED

Buy ammo and get a save and exit to story.

If done correctly, when you return online you will have the paint, texture and rim style from c1 and the car, pearl and rim color from c2

Is there any way to transfer JUST the wheel colour? I've tried using my wheel slot to transfer pure whites but had no luck so far

yes, wheel slot! what doesnt work for you?
If I merge or dupe to my wheel spot so I can then put pure whites on top of that it breaks it. I either end up with a normally merged car or it doesn't merge at all and only changes the set of wheels it has.

Yeah it works no problem if I buy a fresh Elegy then buy whatever on C2 but if I do anything else it doesn't work. I think it might just be that particular spot since my wheel and pearl in the agency works fine

Actually, I did mention that everything is completely unselected on it, and it doesn't highlight the entire car when you hover over crew on either primary or secondary.

What I was trying to say is that the original car that I had taken the pearl from had in game color that had been glitched into the crew like feel good Inc does. I didn't know that until I had done the merge to get the pearl onto my wheel slot.

This was not what I was intending to have as the finished product. I only was trying to pair the wheels with that pearl, so I found this to be a happy little accident. From here I took this wheel and pearl and merged it with the seawash green.

Thank you for the tips! I have been trying to figure out how to fix scratched pearl and wheel color I knew there was a way I just couldn't do it. The other thing I am trying to figure out is how to take a livery off of a car that has a scratched tint. I've just never had to do it before.

What you did in the photos was strip the RGB off of c2.
You had the BF on your magic slot on c1.
C2 merged your paint to service car and bought over BF.
C1 changed the wheels on the BF?

If that is so, then you stripped the RGB from c2 down to the texture/color under it.

So if you made a worn car in save editor.
Chose worn black and applied full rgb, when doing what you did would strip the rgb and your finished car would be worn black

Oh I'm on xbox, so no extra fun stuff for me. I am mostly using in game colors and things I find in my garages that I've traded for. I was skeptical if using that car to begin with because I figured it was a beff paintjob of some type.

I'm not a car creator, and I'm just making some stuff for my friend and I, so I know that this outcome isn't technically desirable, but we liked it haha. It was technically just a byproduct of me taking the pearl from that original car ?.

I put the pearl together with a worn grey that came from a service car, and what I *think* is a worn secret gold wheel color. It is not as shiny as secret gold and its not yellow. I have a nightshark that has selected ("none") window tint and blue and yellow livery. I want to take the livery only from the nightshark, but I'm not great with liveries, qnd so far everything I have attempted brings the scratched tint with it. Any suggestions?

Full merge the donor you want to apply the livery to a Vagrant. The Vagrant you are able to purchase all liveries without unlocks

The livery we are looking for is set 1 and number 32 (yellow and blue camo). Vagrant is set 2 and only goes to 30, so I can never get the yellow and blue set 1 livery.

I have it on the nightshark with scratched tint. I know there must be a way to fix tint. I have slots that carry the tint from c1 car to whatever I buy on c2, but I can't get it to work with green tint yet. I will try again tomorrow when I get on again and have a helper so I can dupe the nightshark onto the c1 car.

Yes, it's 23 for set 2 (I'm going off of livery shenanigans spreadsheet, so number is off by 1), but if I flip from set 2 to set 1, won't that give me the nuckleduster on my nightshark?

I could be wrong, but I think that's how the flip works going from set 2 to set 1, and vice versa.
