Hey guys,

[DISCLAIMER: This is my first post here, so I apologise if I am posting in the wrong place] Yesterday, my Xbox stopped booting. Upon pressing the power button, the 360 whirrs up and the middle power button light goes up. The LEDs do not spin, indicating it does not boot. Upon opening the console, I discovered that my Coolrunner Rev 3's CLK wire was detached (I am using RGH 1.2). The CLK wire was previously attached to FT2R2. This morning, I turned on the Xbox whilst holding the wire to FT2RT and the console booting as expected. I soldered the wire back onto FT2R2, and doing so, did this: . Is there any way to fix this, or am I fu**ed?

Thanks a lot,

Scrape away at the trace and solder a wire between that and the typical CLK by HANA point.

However, the CLK by HANA is much much more sensitive to heat and pressure. It lifts much easier.

Clean up the FT2R2 solder point as best you can (remove as much flux residue as you can) then try adding a little fresh amount of flux and then try adding some solder to the pad. If the pad is burnt/destroyed then try scrapping off the top layer of the trace line that runs to the FT2R2 pad and solder your "CLK" to that. Then test to boot your console.

You can maybe try to find some alternative solder points online if the suggested things above don't work out. I messed up contacts a few times installing CoolRunner Rev C chips and was able to find alternative points online. Not sure for the method you're doing.
