U need to find a modded car that has a matte with unselected pearl first before doing it. Then redo the secondary after that

Then use this step if it is not working for you.

Spawn location: arena workshop

C1: Have your car in the arena
Take it to the workshop,
Change the primary or secondary to classic black (depending on what side you want to mod first) and make sure the crew colour is on the primary or secondary (depending on what side you are not modding)
Exit the vehicle and change outfits to save the game
Get back in the car, hover over the base (metals or matte) and turn on netcut on c1

C2: load into invite only session and bring the same car to the workshop, replace the black with crew then change the armor of the car
Exit the workshop, then drive out, change one outfit to save, drive the car back in the arena, change the outfit to the first one and you won’t see the saving circle.
Load into story mode and exit the game.

C1: turn off netcut, buy the base and leave gta online, load into invite only session and your car should be outside. Grab the car and it should have the base and crew on the primary or secondary. (Depending on which one you are modding first)
There you go

You can do the same thing for the secondary but you have to do the first part, clicking on classic black and saving your game.
You don’t have to buy the crew colour if a crew colour is already on the car unless you want to change it.

For anyone with these questions -

What is netcut, what does it do?
How much is it?
Can I get/transfer modded wheels? With BEFF?
How can I make 2 tones?

Here is a video answering these to the best I could.

I'm going to guess you want a matte that looks straight out of what it looks like from the shop, with that full chalkboard matte texture look.

I'm pretty certain you won't achieve that without the selected black pearlescent underneath, it simply doesn't exist in the game like this - and any method you use will always set the pearlescent to selected black. You can find mattes in the game/worn colours, but they always have some kind of brighter pearlescent that changes the whole texture look from the straight black matte that you see.

In essence, I've come the conclusion this just isn't possible in exactly the way you want. Some colours can certainly give the appearance of being full matte, neon yellow colours hide the pearlescent of having brush gold base layer for example - and the whole colour looks like a flat matte. However, it isn't, it has the brushed metal underneath...

U need to find someone that has a modded matte colour with a crew on top of it and a unselected pearl. Gc2f it. Change the secondary crew to whatever colour you want so the primary is still modded and the Pearl then do the glitch on the secondary and that is it.

But click matte instead, not metals.

You can do that on different unselected pearls with metals as well but not worn.

You know how to do modified mate with crew on top and pearly pearl not selected in the main color, they told me it was with magic slot, but I don't know the steps of c1 and c2

I don’t really touch the magic slot. How I make modded mattes with any modded pearls is that I grab a modded one that has a pearl you want from someone else, merge it to the car you want it. Change the secondary crew so the primary is still modded then do the beff colour glitch to add the matte and crew onto the secondary and you made a whole new colour. That works with any pearls as long as you find a modded car that has the pearl and base you want. Same thing with metals.

and you know how to make the pearly matte without marking in the main color, without taking one that is already made in a car

I wouldn't get too stressed about it, the cool matte effect you get always marks black as teh pearlescent right? THis is a dark colour and it's what gives a Matte that duller 2D look, which of course is the most desirable matte colour.

I'm yet to actually see any car in Xbox that had an unselected matte like this, always has some kind of shine if you look closely enough. Like you can merge a brushed gold base with an existing matte ingame colour with some arsing around. However the net result is you get unselected matte but however it has that shine from the brushed gold base which changes teh colour quite significantly - as in it doesnt have that same textured finished as the straight matte with black pearlescent.

Look very closely at anyone who claims to have such a matte finished car, you will always find the shine through of the hidden pearlescent effect. Some colours like a neon yellow really hide this well, so it looks as if you've achieved a straight up matte colour.

Magic slot malarky, wheel slots and paint slots are all just fabrication of people who want to sound cool IMO. What magic slots do are well documented, and they don't achieve this.

For pearl:
On Console 1 use Metallic Paint, and on Console 2 use Crew color. The 7 colors are as follow:

Mariner Blue
Harbour Blue
Saxon Blue
Metallic 31/75 (Forget name not on system)
Garnet Red
Sunset Red
Olive Green

For this section, I've been through this one a million times...it kind of works, but it's fairly useless.

What I worked out is any single metallic you can pick on your car, and then you look down the pearlescent and it's unselected...you can merge that unselected pearl onto your car. The problem is most of these colours just have an off white pearlescent, which looks no different to a standard light reflection...you pretty much won't be able to tell the difference. There are some colours missing from this, like bright green - however again, this is just another off white pearlescent when you merge it using the instructions above.

One of the blues, I think marnier, does have a nice blueish unselected pearlescent which pops well under a dark colour like a black for example.

Other problem with this glitch is you end up with metalic finish/texture...unfashionable. Anyway to mix up this unselected pearl with say a brushed texture? I don't think there is...

It really is a shame we can't make our own unselected pearlescent colours.

The wheel glitch instructions, anyone ever get that working and can elaborate on what they actually say? Interested to make own colour wheels unselected, and if there's a better pearlescent mod than this be lovely.
