Hello, I have a Philips Lite On drive in my xbox 360 and was attempting to flash it. Unfortunately, I can't get Jungle Flasher working with my Windows 10. I have followed every tutorial I could find and I simply can't even get the software to start up. Seeing if anyone flashes drives or sells pre-flashed drives? Or would it just be more cost effective to get the whole console RGH/Jtagged?

Thanks!

Did you make sure to install the most upto date .Net Framework on your Windows 10 OS. ?
I have windows 10 on my PC and JungleFlasher software also BUT i found that running the J/Flasher software in Windows 7 compatibility mode and run as Admin, the software runs a lot better than in Windows 10 mode.
So try this.----------------Right click on the J/Flaser.exe in the folder, click on "Properties",click on the second tab from the left, which is "Compatibility",click the little box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and select either Windows XP,Windows 7 or Windows 8 from the drop down selection. Then left click the small box at the bottom next to "Run this as an administrator, then click "Apply" down the very bottom right of the box,the click "Ok".
Aso make sure you move the files inside the J/Flasher software "PortIO" folder "Portio32.sys" and "Portio64.sys" and move them into the MAIN J/Flasher folder itself.
Also can i ask how your connecting your 360 drive to your PC or Laptop please ?
I use the proper Xecuter x360 Pro USB kit along with the Xecuter CK3 lite to power the drive and the Xecuter CK3 Probe kit.
And my last question is,is your 360 the fat version or Slim ?

Thanks for your response. I have tried all of these things but the software won't even start up. I was wondering if I boot from an external drive with windows 7 or xp if I that would work out?

I was hooking up my drive directly to my motherboard with a sata cable and have a makeshift probe. I haven't gotten far enough to find out if this set up is an issue as JungleFlasher won't even start. My 360 is a fat version.

I would install Windows XP or Windows 7 onto another HDD and boot your PC that way.Make sure ALL your motherboard drivers are installed as well, along with the most recent .Net Framework.
Now as for connecting your 360 drive direct to your motherboard, not all motherboard chipsets are compatible to flash the Xbox 360 drives.
If your motherboard has the older PCI slots, you might need the SATA PCI card that's mentioned in the J/Flasher PDF tuturial or you will need to get an Xecuter X360 USB Pro connectivity kit.
Start from getting J/Flasher to launch and run properly first from either Win XP,Win 7 or Win 8 and go from there, bud.I'll be following your progress on here, should you need any further help.I'm here to help as much as i can.

What did you use to power your 360 dvd drive with ? did you leave it attached to the 360 motherboard or did you use a connectivity kit ?

Per the video I watched explaining the process I left it connected to the xbox motherboard. Not a big deal as I was just hoping to make use of an old console that has been collecting dust.
