Okay thanks Eye. But now I have a new question that probably only you can help with. Last night I found some excellent videos about making survivals in interiors. Long story short, I was able to make one in Michael's house, BUT I can't spawn the enemies inside. Player spawn point is no problem, but the enemies is really tough. I feel like I've tried everything. I've put the huge building blocks through the house in every conceivable way. I can't get them in there because the space is too tight.

You might be thinking that maybe you just can't put the enemies in some spaces, but the enemies in the police station survival are spawned into the basement. I started to make a police station survival there just to see if I could do it, but I wasn't able to make the police spawn down there. So there must be some sort of a trick to it. I really want to make one in Michael's house, so I'm determined to figure it out. Thank you.

Oh and another question. Another thing I found on YouTube was how to get under the map in Creator, so you can make survivals just about anywhere. My first try was the forbidden Bahama Mamas. I got under there but I'm not sure how you make the interior spawn. One time I got in a spot where I could see that it's all still in there, but couldn't spawn on it.

Then I tried the movie theater (the one you can go into) and couldn't spawn on the interior in there either.

Some interior's can be a bit tricky to get to load. Going into 1st person mode usually gets the interior to spawn while in 1st person only. You would then have to test the job after creating spawn points in order to actually get the interior to fully spawn in.

Sometimes you have to go into 1st person view in order to place enemy spawn points and locations that you can't normally place. When you do this angle the camera as far away from you as possible when trying to find a spot that it will let you place

Update! I'm proud to say that I was able to make a survival inside of both Michael's house and Floyd's apartment. I can't remember if I mentioned this, but I was able to place 1 guy inside Michael's house all along. But last night it dawned on me that all I need is 1 man placed in there. Then I just temporarily placed the other 14 guys on the street and then did the trick where you pile all the guys up on that one guy. Not sure if I'm explaining that correctly, but I think you know what trick I mean. Anyway, I'm super excited to have finally done this and I'm going to attempt more interiors today also.

Very happy to hear you got it sorted out. Enjoy. Creator is so much fun when you get creative

The foundry, and the torture chamber is both accessible via under map and ramps

I actually just started the torture chamber a little while ago, but haven't been able to place the enemies. It's tough to get the building block to the correct point underground. That one will be tough. I didn't figure the Foundry would be accessible so I haven't tried yet.

Yes it is. But it's tricky. Anyway, today I made one at Lester's house, Auntie's house and Trevor's trailer. Tried Lester's warehouse and that's proven to be very difficult for some reason. Also tried Tequi-La-La but I was also having trouble placing my one enemy there.

Update: I finished my survival in Tequi-La-La. Finally found one spot where I could put an enemy and then stacked them all on him. Placed my player start points on stage in front of the instruments. It was going to be cool. But when I went to play it, the interior vanished and I fell through the floor and landed outside. Even when I go back into Creator to try and fix it, it's unfixable. The interior is permanently gone. How can the interior be there the entire creation process and then through the testing, only to disappear for good after I went to play it?

Sounds like the "First Job Syndrome" we take advantage of in other scenarios ?
The other, side issue of needing to force spawn the interior (like i have to do prior to playing my arcade interior race).

These 2 things sometimes go hand in hand.

The issue #1:
The floor is not spawned in in time to start the job, so the game doest think there is anything solid to land on.
Solution:
Add green containers in creator below your spawn, and floor height, or just below (flush)
-solution b:
Find a lobby that someone used mc work and activated tequila-la-la in freemode, then start your race, or then goback to creator... it should then have force spawned in creator and the job again. It sounds like a semi ipl. Meaning it needs a trigger to load the interior scripts, not just through its colision points.

Issue #2:
You fall down using the first job syndrome...
Solution:
Run it twice. The first job will force you to fall to the highest placed prop/object below you. If no floor, or object, you fall through map.
We take advantage of this to drop below 0 below map ? (ie, fall into arcade, and still have a valid job trigger above map)
The second time loading the job (playlist) will spawn you wherever your spawn is truely placed.

For my arcade job, i have to go inside and start titan, back out. Or things like floors and walls dont spawn visually.

I successfully breached the roof in freemode, but the interior is basic. No decor, just bare walls. I only saw the walls in first person. You definitely need to activate freemode mc work prior to loading the interior

Thanks again for taking the time, Eye. I haven't had a chance to try solutions 1 or 2, but the MC in freemode sounds like my best bet. Back when I was a big time wall breacher, I also breached into Tequi-La-La and had to have a friend start MC work there first before it would work. I can't remember if the walls were bare or not. I've never played any MC work on my own, but I'm sure I can find a friend who can/will do it and then we'll launch the survival.

One small update. I got on to play for a minute last night and tested it. I was able to spawn inside but the other players spawned outside, which makes no sense, since the spawn points are right beside one another. Speaking of the walls being bare, when I was making this survival, everything was there. The full bar, instruments, wall accoutrements, etc. When I spawned in last night, it was bare.

By the way, feel free to book mark this job in Social Club. Just look up Tequi-La-La. Then you can try it yourself. Then you can bookmark all my other interior survivals if you want. I'm going to keep trying Lester's office, but that one has been most challenging. I can't find a place that I can place the enemy. I've tried just about everything.

EyeDuDab EyeDuDab .. reading this thread blew my mind apart and then put it back together only in a way slightly more cool than it was before. I’ve never seen a person with modding knowledge have the patience nor take the time to help out individuals. Especially in such a succinct non judgmental way.

It's true, DarkWaters. But anyway, let me ask you guys a question. Do you guys have trouble getting the explosive props to spawn? I put down a bunch of explosive tanks and cans in my latest survival and they don't spawn when you actually play it.

They're there in test mode. They're there when I go back to Creator. But they don't show up when I play it. It's upsetting. :frown:

Are they in the air? Or on something?

Update:
I can confirm this.
It dont matter. I just placed 1 of each dynamic prop that says explosive, and none spawned in the job.

I place each of the props on the ground at lsia, and yes it loaded into test, but they disappear when launching the job

Eye, they were in the air. But you can't make it work in the air or on the ground huh? Why would they add dynamic but you can't see it? We have to be doing something wrong.

It could have been part of a bg patch. We are known to enjoy killing npcs in very creative ways afterall

lol yeah but I don't know if they'd give you the option of Dynamic if they don't want you to use it right? Who do we complain to?
