Hello there!

PC Player here. Long story short. Speedo Custom is gone from my nightclub and not on any other garages, so:
1. Can't be driven out of Nightclub (NC) since it's not there.
2. Can't be called from interaction menu since Speedo Custom is greyed out and the "You need to purchase this Special Vehicle from the Warstock Cache & Carry website" message is displayed.

All I'm trying to do is at least get one back in any of the basement garages and hopefully one day, back into the B1 Vehicle Sales Garage.

Using Obese Giraffe's GCTF to obtain the Speedo then combined with Odd_man's thread, I'm able to apparently get the Speedo back into NC. Unfortunately, after leaving the session, they become the base cars they were before being replaced by the Speedos. So on console everything works but on PC, cars don't "stick". I've been using "free" cars from their respective websites such as elegy and even a dukes (it's free for me), but no success.

Is there any way to make a car obtained through GCTF not revert back to original car on PC? Thanks in advance. :l

It all depends on the GCTF you are using. If the particular glitch doesn’t work on PC there isn’t a workaround.
Historically there have been very few GCTF and dupe glitches that work on PC.

As far as the Speedo goes try pushing it to your MOC.
After doing so you can call it using the interaction menu. Once you have it outside you may be able to drive into the Nightclub.

The first time I pulled off getting the Speedo into the MOC, I tried driving it into the Nightclub and I ended up getting stuck in a black screen, infinitely loading. :l

I think if I still owned it it wouldn’t freeze. Wish it would just work like on consoles :l Thanks for the suggestion though:

Once you have the infinite loading screen at Nightclub garage 1 try:
  • Disconnecting your internet by shutting off your wireless on your PC.
  • You can just use airplane mode to do that.
  • The game should kick you back to story mode.
  • Reconnect wireless.
  • Start an online session.
  • Check to see if the Speedo made it in the garage.

...and no luck. :l Thanks for the ideas regardless.

After successfully getting Speedo into the MOC, drove it to the Nightclub and got stuck on black screen as expected. Disconnected from network by disabling the Ethernet adapter through Windows (Wireless adapter was disabled prior to attempting all this). Unfortunately when I rejoined online, it reverted back to the "replaced" vehicle, which was a rusty rebel.

Just to be thorough, I also tried to get out of the black screen freeze during another attempt after driving into the Nightclub using the joining player from another aim preference (I've been using Free Aim all this time), accepting first prompt, then quitting out of the second one. The black screen went away and my character showed up in the elevator spot of B1 vehicle sales garage... but no Speedo Custom. The fact that it ended up in that particular floor suggests the game is trying to place it in the correct spot, but since I no longer own it, it just places you in the elevator as if you just used it. Went to single player, then back to online and both rebels were back in nightclub garage 4 taking on some of the properties of the Speedo Custom that was used (window tint, paint).

So it appears that while the glitch "works" on PC, but behind the scenes, it never really overwrites/replaces the vehicle you get from your friend. It's loaded and remains "present" while you remain in the session, but the moment one quits and rejoins it just loads what was last saved normally, which in my case is the rusty rebel I was using. :l

Some notes: Previously I attempted to just buy another nightclub, but it doesn't work. After making the first nightclub purchase, moving to another nightclub location causes all property upgrades to go away, preserves garages/cars and doesn't buy/restore" a new speedo custom. If you try to start a small sale, a stock Speedo Custom will show up during the sale but will disappear once it's over. Only "straightforward" way of recovering it so far would be to erase the character, which isn't really acceptable. So if you're thinking of messing around with the B1 Sale Vehicle garage or the Speedo Custom itself, be REALLY careful! :o

Dont drive speedo into nightclub. Push it. Then mod it and it will overwrite the one in the speedo spot.

but this is PC so it might revert.

Thanks for yet another suggestion. PC seems to behave differently than consoles, but of course I'd be willing to try.

When you say push it, what do you mean exactly?

Don't know if this is the same process/technique, but here's what I've done before to get Speedo into nightclub without driving it inside:
1. I went into garage on foot, took a vehicle out (tried with elegy, dukes and karin rebel).
2. Drove said vehicle to MOC to cause a swap so Speedo ends up in the Nightclub.
3. Once the Speedo was inside, I'd modify something in the hope that it would stay.

Once speedo is in MOC. Call any car from nightclub B2, B3, or B4 and drive it in the MOC.

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll give that a go and see if that behaves any differently from driving it out of the garage. :o

Once speedo is in MOC. Call any car from nightclub B2, B3, or B4 and drive it in the MOC.

I think I might’ve done that before but couldn’t confirm the result since it looks like that particular GCTF glitch (or rather a part of it) has been patched.

This is the current reason on PC but I also assume it’s happening on console too: criminal enterprise option disappears entirely from online menu when sitting in the ceo office couch. If you’re outside it’ll be there but once inside it will eventually completely disappear as an option.

I haven’t seen any workarounds or any new GCTF, so until then, thanks for all the help/suggestions regardless.

Update: another GCTF emerged. Followed the steps Morimoto mentioned but the speedo custom reverted back to the original car, which in this case was a Faggio. The glitch was done in a closed friend session, but when I joined a regular public session, it made me think it had worked. But alas, I was wrong. After logging in later today it changed back. :frown:

The GCTF video I found is a little bit longer than the previous one but explains how to start it in a different way but with the same kind of steps towards the end: link

In the meantime I'll keep looking for any information that might be more PC-centric in the hopes of making the Speedos not revert. Thanks for the suggestions as always. :l

Update:

As far as being able to store cars from using a GCTF glitch, I think I have stumbled on a way. I spotted somebody asking a PC-specific question and a very helpful reply on this GCTF post for 1.50 on gtaglitches reddit:

Jimmy_Two_Shoes (Thank you so much for sharing!)
"There was a trick I did to save GCTF vehicles. Basically, perform a car dupe on top of this glitch. The original car reverts back into the default car but not the duped vehicle.
Ended up collecting all 32 vehicles from import/export through this. Did this last update so I'm unsure if it still works"

So for anybody trying to use a GCTF glitch but also trying to avoiding the risk of using external tools on PC, try to dupe the car right after. Unfortunately, after many frustrating attempts and experiments, on PC the car you receive from a GCTF glitch will only exist as that car while you remain in the session and is not "saved" as in consoles even as you see the save circle show up. While in that session, it will look like your friend's car but internally it is still the base car you tried to replace with your friend's car and will "revert" the moment you go to SP or go to Creator and rejoin Online. Just switching sessions will make you think the car was saved but it won't. So duping right after seems to be the way to finally be able to keep a car from GCTF glitch on PC.

I haven't tested this myself and don't know when and if I'll get around to it, but wanted to share just in case.

Now if this seems even more complicated, another much more RISKY option is through the use of a tool. It's PC only, but here's the link from a fellow se7ensinner:
https://www.se7ensins.com/forums/threads/fix-your-speedo-custom-empty-slot-in-ncsvw.1744225/

...and that's it. Hopefully this gives anybody experiencing my situation or something similar a way to get things done.

I'd like to thank everybody for taking the time to make helpful suggestions. Seriously, you are all gentlemen and scholars.

TLDR: GCTF glitch --> Dupe Glitch --> keep the GCTF car or do what a fellow se7ensinner did using a tool.

I made it work to give cars from my first to my second account and got them stick.
First of all make the GCTF glitch then once you got the car from you friend do the dupe glitch.
Once the dupe glitch done, drive the car your received in front of a full garage with elegys. Call one elegy via the mechanic then buy another one over this one and drive the received car in.
That's all.
