I have a Corona 4gb, where i was able to read the nand 2 times with no issues. Created the ECC, and wrote the ECC with no problems. Nands matched. No post fix needed
This is a CR4 Muffin install with a matrix v3 chip. Trying to boot xell and all i get is a beep and no boot. Is there anyone with knowledge regarding this install that can assist me?

Mine, for instance, is totally lifeless. When it beeps, there is no light, no fans are spinning...
I guess, just making one quick beep and seems lifeless.
A beep and no power is usually a short or a blown resistor/cap/MOSFET on the slims motherboard.I would send it in to someone who can repair this board for you.

It's programmed with 3-1
I would try different timing files (one at a time) just as if you'd be doing an RGH or S-RGH install on your Corona.
Once you've gone through ALL the timing files and your console still wont boot.I would flash back your stock nand dump,desolder the power wire from the matrix chip and test to see if your console still boots from stock.
If it boots from stock nand,then try different length wires for your muffin install and go through each muffin timing file again.

I will do this, though i did try every muffin timing file. Just a beep. The fan doesn't even spin. Didn't know wire lengths matter on a muffin install. I'll post back. Appreciate the reply

None if this worked. Even writing stock retail nand, back and same problem. I will assume the ecc got screwed up somehow when it was written which means corrupted nand. Any other solutions? Willing to pay $100

Does your Corona boot up to dash with the stock nand wrote back to the nand chip ? If your console isn't booting with the stock nand then i would send it off to someone in your country for a repair.Or you could just pick up a cheap replacement console and start from scratch.

No it doesn't do anything. It just beeps, that's also with the retail nand flashed back. I'm thinking somewhere the nand got corrupted when ECC was created

I am having the same exact issue! Have you fixed yours yet? If so please let me know how as I know you felt the same frustration I am right now.

I have the same issue. After flashing ECC, the console doesn't boot, only beeps.
After flashing the stock nand image. Nothing changes. Brick?

Does your front RF/power light,light up red or is the console just making a quick beep and seems lifeless ?

Hm. Looks like you are right. I took my multimeter and tried to measure resistance on R3D6, R3D7, R3D8 and R3D9, but without a luck.
Moreover, there is no connection between R3D6 and R3D7 / R3D8 and R3D9. The rest resistors are fine. I guess, I fried somehow all four resistors.

This is so freaking strange.
I tried to flash another Corona V2 and it died like my first one. I try to turn it on, but nothing happens apart from the beep sound. At this time died R3D6.
I have never had any problems with Corona V1 or any Trinity models... only with Corona V2....

UPDATE 1.
I unsoldered Ace V5 and replaced dead R3D6 resistor and the console booted up fine.

UPDATE 2.
I unsoldered Ace V5 and replaced all 4 dead resistors in another console and it booted up fine too.

For some reason something burns these resistors near the southbridge (this is the place where you solder C1 and C2 points).
It is either a cheap Ace 5 Chinese chip or custom made SDcard reader. It breaks as soon as you flash ecc and boot up console with Ace V5. (No clue if it breaks if you just flash ecc image to NAND). Don't want to experiment with it anymore. I will just avoid Corona V2.

~~~~
If I am not mistaken,
R3D6 and R3D8 should be 33 Ohms;
R3D7 and R3D9 should be 50 Ohms.
