the old tools work fine
You said old tools work fine, so obviously that's not true. I read your whole post the first time, otherwise I wouldn't of responded to it. I also didn't use either of the tools you're talking about what so ever. That's great that you know how to with those tools though. I'd love to see some proof of your modified profile that you speak of as well. Just so other users know that works, as do I. No reason to flame on the topic though.
Back when I indulged in such things, if I came upon an issue like this I would unlock each individual achievement one at a time. I would unlock the achievement for the lowest level, rehash and resign, and then go back online with my profile to sync it with servers. I then repeated that step for each successive achievement. I did not tend to unlock achievements in bulk, because I thought (and still do think) such a method is rushed, silly, and obvious. My way was time-consuming, sure, but I never cared for giving myself exorbitant amounts of gamerscore, anyway.
I never understood the appeal of modding your way to 100,000+ gamerscore. In most cases it looks quite obviously fabricated.
I agree with you that it goes over the top. I just wanted to see how much I could get away with because I don't mind being reset in the first place. I use to love doing things like this back when Halo 3 and Halo ODST was around for the vidmaster achievements just I could get recon and show it off.

Are you using Horizion to inject GPDs into your account then using the Achievement editor to modify your achievements? (I didn't that back on 360 on my old account which in the end got reset because someone from Australia stole my account (over him losing a gun in borderlands 1) while I was playing on it and he modded it to be caught instantly)
lol.
I don't really use Horizon cause it's paid but it is good. I used Le Fluffie to inject the GPDs (It can be annoying to use on smaller profiles).

It would be great to see some proof of your method as well seeing as you started the thread in the first place and all you've gave away is a screenshot of a profile with 100000g that could be anybody's and frequent updates that you haven't been reset. Just saying though. I know the purpose of the thread is to tell people it can still be done but I dont think people care about that if you're not going to tell them how. I dont care if you think i'm flaming the thread I've at least pointed people in the direction they need to do what you're telling them to do only for you to say I'm bullshltting and my way doesn't work then tell me in private that you're aware that it does work.

so I'm done with it now.

I would make a thread with a tutorial to actually show people how to do what you telling them is possible but I dont think there's enough interest out there for me to bother plus there will be many other threads explaining the method already because like I say the same method with exprofileeditor has worked for years and still works as of a few weeks ago when I used it to mop up the remaining Oblivion achievements I didn't have :sorry:

Then you can do that yourself in the Xbox tutorials section with your method. No one is stopping you from posting there.

hello,

I just wanted to post here. I use horizon to give myself a higher Gamerscore for 2 accounts. I did it on my xbox 360 Rgh & it sticks to my xbox one. One for my main another for 2nd. Last year I did about 100k Gamerscore for my main, which is arms20081234 and for my 2nd account about 230k. I haven't been banned on either. Last month, i just did another 150k on my main account. Its still not banned. I really don't see a need for a tutorial, their are already plenty online.

Link to my gamertag-https://www.xboxgamertag.com/search/arms20081234/

thanks,

I’ve modded my gamer score for years.

It’s very simple to do with Horizon. You won’t get banned unless you do a stupid amount at once. They still work, without issue.

I don’t understand all the toxicity in this thread. First of all, Xbox 360 modding is all but dead, and gamerscore is only cosmetic, in that it ultimately means absolutely nothing (unless you’re using it to measure your e-peen lol)

OP, if you’re going to boast about a method of modding gamerscore on a console that’s over 14 years old, and then belittle people who ask how to do it... why even bother posting in a modding community about it?

I don’t know (or care about) what this ‘secretive’ methodology is, but, sometimes bans can come almost a year after modded gamerscore is applied (trust me, it has happened to me). Make sure to keep us updated xD

I have to disagree with you sir about xbox 360 modding being all but dead. Its still quite active today & like many old famous games will still be active afterwards. This can be PC, PS, Xbox, Nintendo. I will just list off a few that are online & people are still playing as well as modding. Warcraft 3, Diablo II, Halo 3, Pretty much all of the CODS, GTA V, counter-strike, i could go on. if you really think xbox 360 mod scene is near dead, then go look up stealth servers, because those guys are still making a lot of money. Just the other day, I had 3 people come up & ask me to make them a stealth server. Let me strengthen my argument by going back to the previous example of famous old games, so Warcraft 3 came out in 2002, people to this day are still trying to make maphacks for that game because others will pay for it. Why would they pay for a maphack if the game is presumably dead? The relevance of stating games from other consoles/pc is to show you that even long after a game isn't in the spot light anymore doesn't mean it goes dead. Now the games that go dead would be the non-famous games, the ones that didn't impress a lot of people.

thanks,

About 5 or so years ago I've modded just a few achievements, and sometimes i do get kind of worried if it's going to catch up to me sooner or later. Meanwhile there's people here posting about how they've added tens of thousand of gamerscore and still haven't gotten caught.

I didn’t say it is completely dead, I said that it is largely dead, which is true.

Of course there will always be people within the 360 modding scene, however, it is nothing more than a shadow of what it used to be, and that’s indisputable. With that in mind, it is dead.

Anyways, please don’t stray off-topic. The topic of this thread is something completely different.

I didn't suggest you said it was completely dead, as you just stated its largely dead. Which is what I disagree with you on. If it was largely dead, there would be no such thing as these paid stealth services. The activity level is still quite moderate. For you to suggest is low, is asinine.

I don’t understand if I’m being too verbose, or what. I said "it is nothing more than a shadow of what it used to be, and that’s indisputable." Given, that it is indeed, indisputable. What I said stands, as, the level of activity within the 360 modding scene is generously 15%-20% of what it was 4-6 years ago. That disparity alone makes it figuratively dead.

That's the last that I'll say to you about this. If you wish to continue this conversation, please begin a private conversation with me instead of further derailing this thread by being off-topic.

It seems you two just conceive "dead" differently, some people think of it as no where near where it use to be and others think of dead as completely dead like no one is there. Obviously using the term dead was an exaggeration, better put would have been 'not like it used to be'.

well there ya go! We all can get a million with no worries
I know I can get an unlimited amount it's just the amount of gamerscore (achievements) that is out there that is the limiting factor.

Lol lucky. I modded my gamescore back on 360 to over 100k. After a couple of months being on the One, I got banned for a week and got all my 360 achievements taken away. All i can say is if it does happen, your gonna be exactly like me and be like " wow they finally caught me".

If the system wore to catch me it would have done it a long time ago, like within the first two weeks if not first few months. It's been years.
If you were to mod it normally then that would be the case (for high amounts).
