First off the memory you selected is not compatible with the ASRock B450M, and Ryzen is EXTREMELY picky on ram. For the best price choose the patriot PSD44G213381. The G.Skill MIGHT work, but Ryzen is way to picky to even mess around with compatibility problems, especially when it comes to ram.

I would personally not use that motherboard. ASRock in my experience is hit or miss, but honestly I never hear many good things. Their BIO's sucks to work with and the two I have used in the past had issues, both with ram. Is overclocking something you would be doing at all?

If you are wanting the RX 580, the Asus 4GB card is not worth that £155.00 price tag. XFX sells the 8GB card for £180.00 and it will perform much better with double the memory, and the memory is Samsung so it will clock higher.

The power supply you selected is decent, and I run two pc's with Corsair PSU's that have had zero problems, but your wattage is low. The RX 580 recommends a 500W or better PSU. It would probably never need or use the power, but if you start adding fans and all the other extras, you might want to consider some more power to be completely safe. This is why I asked before if you plan to overclock, because if you do the 450W definitely will not do the job. The EVGA B3 has plenty of power, and it is fully modular for a few bucks more. This is a much better option and all around a better PSU.

In total the price is raised by £50.00. You are stuck with the higher priced ram for compatibility issues, and I would absolutely not go with a power supply under 500W. Not sure your budget, but if it were a build I was doing for a customer I would go this route.

Thanks!

Would that be good with the GPU you said? Also, would you change anything other than the mobo/ram? what about a decent case? cheap is good.

Honestly the pcpartpicker build is better then the novatech. Their are some holes in the build but for someone who is just going to be running fortnite it should be okay.

That is not true. The RAM is definitely compatible.

OP - That pre-built is trash. No one can really help you if you don't decide on your budget though. Is it £250, £400, £475, £500+?

That case is not a 60 quid case. It's a £20 case, and pretty old.

There is nothing wrong with AsRock motherboards. That specific one is no good, but AsRock make some great mobo's. 450W is perfectly adequate, even if you overclock.

If it's just for Fortnite, this is more than adequate;

Though I wouldn't be paying that much for the GPU since its really easy to find used RX 570s for £70-85 or 580s for around £100.

AMD is very picky with ram, and his choice is not on the compatibility list from ASRock. So, it has a high chance of not working correctly, please do some research. 450W will not overclock well either considering my 2200G build can pull over 100W by itself while overclocked.

In terms of speed, not compatibility.

That is not true. The QVL list is not about compatibility. Kits on the QVL list are just kits that AsRock themself have tested and made sure to work at their rated speed. It doesn't mean the RAM won't work.

This comparison makes no sense, first of all. Of course your full system pulls more than 100W, it'd be almost impossible for it to not. Ironic that I'm the one who needs to do research. You can see for yourself exactly how much power an overclocked RX 580 will use, just look at RX 590 power consumption benchmarks since the 590 IS a heavily overclocked RX 580. A full system with an RX 580, overclocked or not, will not pull more than 400W. Assuming of course its paired with a mainstream CPU, and not an HEDT CPU. I never said 450W is ideal, it is however adequate.
