Is there any effect from the naming option on the new Arena Wars cars? I got my first sell limit warning in years just from taking my new Arena Wars fully upgraded Mini Issi into LSC to see what the sell price would be, I wasn't even planning on actually selling it. This was after selling a Retro Elegy. I only sold one car that day and it was my first time playing the game in a week.

I've only been selling one car a day since then (only doing that 2 or 3 times a week actually) but I'm nervous now about trying to sell Mini Issi.

edit: I forgot to say that the Issi that I took in to try to sell to see the price on, I had left the name blank when I upgraded it. I also didn't change the plate. Right now I own two fully upgraded Issi's, one has custom RICHAF plates like all my other daily drivers.

That is gonna be my keeper and the first one will be used for duping. But I'm scared to "name" a car for duping.

edit 2: just sold my 2nd car today (after waiting 51 min). No problem. But they were both Elegy Retro Coupes. Kind of scared to try the Mini Issi.
I have been wondering the same thing.
I don’t believe anyone has tried reading the code as of yet concerning the arena vehicle names.

My sons sold 4 issi today and no problem. 2 back to back then some hours later. No names on them. I did read somewhere that your not naming the car anyway your naming the slot in the arena garage. Ie you move another into that slot and it takes the name. You move it from arena into another garage it loses the name. So probably there is no way to track anything with the names

Something wired happened to me yesterday. I sold 2 cars back to back in the morning and evening since a week now on two different accounts.
Account 1 I sold legit bought cars
Account 2 I sold duped issis

yesterday I get the message you hit your daily sell limit on account 1. Account 2 is still fine and I can still sell cars. Does that make any sense? Month ago I sold on both accounts 40 dupes then I get the message that I hit my limit, stopped selling for a couple of days since then I sell 2 back to back morning and evening. Don't get it why I get a limit message on account 1 but not on account 2 now.

Except they fixed removing pegasus from hangar counting as sale after doomsday heist
Thanks for that info, didn't know they have fixed it, still prefer to replace with other plane/helicopter rather than remove.

I think the problem is with the back to back sells, I could be wrong in this, I'm not too sure, but selling back to back too often can put a red flag on that account, same as crossing the thresholds (for example sell 3 or more cars in 120 minutes or more than 8 per 30 hr). The problem with that is you won't get an alert but, eventually your exploit level will increase and therefore eventually you will hit a daily limit.

The cars you are selling, are you using custom plates or generics? Maybe, you had a match on the 7 previous sales by accident?. And one thing that is in the OP, generics plates are safe 99% of the times, but you can still have a duplicate plate, maybe that?.
About naming the arena cars, I wouldn't know what to tell you, the one I dupe didn't had a name, is a Dominator, then kept duping the dupe, only sold 2 or 3, I still have over 40 retros to sell so I've selling those.

I have many accounts that ive sold back to back 2 per 2 hr 8 per day. Some old frozen deluxos but mostly dupes. Following normal rules . no changes to cars . generic plates. All i do is bang up each car a little and sell. Have had no limit hits. Yesterday sold 8 issi 2 back2back per 2 hours.. Generic plates... All same as orig issi.. No problems whatsoever.

Guys, I think I just screwed myself. I hit daily sell limit today. I’ve been selling frozen money deluxos (that have been in my garages for like a year) by spacing my sales with 8 street cars with a tracker. In other words, I would put trackers on 8 street cars and sell one every 48 minutes and then I would sell a Deluxo after selling those 8. I would sell those street cars to fill the list of 7 last tracked sales. I know I messed up, but I don’t know what to change. Should I not put trackers on the street cars? Should I just sell 1 Deluxo every 30 hours, and forget about the street cars?

The problem is that you put a tracker and sell every 48 minutes.
Car with tracker = Personal Vehicle .. meaning you can sell 1 car every 61 minutes so you're hitting the threshold.

Frozen money glitch cars have valid generic license plates you wouldn't need to mix sales with street cars.
I've been selling 2 or 3 X80's and Deluxos (from different FM glitches) per 30h in two different accounts with no problem.

Nevertheless you should read what OP states about FM cars:

FROZEN MONEY CARS
  • Not all Frozen Money vehicles will hit this limit.
  • I found code that indicates some of these vehicles are being tagged when they are purchased.
  • For people that already have these cars and have been detected you should attempt to install new custom plates that are all different.
  • For the vehicles that are detected you can sell 1 per 30 hours without raising you exploit level.

Thank you for that informative reply. One more thing that I’m concerned about - where I stand. So am I in 1 car a day club? How can I tell what my offender/exploit level is? Do I still need to wait 60 hours no sales to lower my offender/exploit level?

Also for future reference, selling street cars to space out sales should only apply to dupes, and not frozen money cars, correct? Also, the street cars being sold in question should not have a tracker, and add to the queue of 7 last tracked cars, correct?

Thank you, and I am sorry if it seems like I’m rambling/typing too much. I know I should read the OP again, but I previously misinterpreted the OP, and need to ascertain I understand this information.

Your exploit level depends how many times you hit the sales limit or crossed the 1 car/hour threshold.

If you have and can change custom license plates in LSC then you're good, means you're level 1, 2 or 3. If so, I'd recommend you to sell 5 cars every 30 hours, with at least 61 minutes apart from each other for the next couple of weeks. By doing this you're definitely lowering your exploit level as you're for sure selling below your current limit.

Yes, you should wait 60h before start selling again, start counting from the last vehicle that made you hit the threshold.

From the OP: Cap Recovery is the amount of time that has to pass before your exploit level is lowered to the next level. The time would start from the last vehicle you sold that resulted in selling = or > your current cap. It's important to not sell up to your limit and always check but not sell your last vehicle each day.

Also for future reference, selling street cars to space out sales should only apply to dupes, and not frozen money cars, correct? Also, the street cars being sold in question should not have a tracker, and add to the queue of 7 last tracked cars, correct?

Street cars (without a tracker) don't count for any sales, forget about them. Street cars with a tracker become a personal vehicle and does count towards sales limits and model/plate check. They're useful for let's say if you have only 5 custom plates, you can sell 5 dupes plus 3 street cars with trackers and then start the process again, in the same order.

Thank you, and I am sorry if it seems like I’m rambling/typing too much. I know I should read the OP again, but I previously misinterpreted the OP, and need to ascertain I understand this information.

You should definitely read the OP and if you have any question place it here. Good luck!

I’m sure this has been covered and I’ve read the OP many times, maybe It’s not making sense to me as I’m running on 3 hrs of sleep lol, so my apologies for the redundancy.

I have sold two Issy dupes, two hours apart each, however they both had my 666 plate on it and I didn’t catch it. I rotate between 10-15 plates most of the time, for nothing more than paranoia

I hadn’t received a sell limit warning, values were the same, custom plates still available, sold another one over an hour later with a different custom plate and no issues.

Should I keep plugging away at these (only 5-6 every 30 hrs) or delete the plate from iFruit (it’s not on any other cars at all)

Suggestions, sinners?

How long should i wait before selling again level 4 cap guys
30 real time hrs then 1 car per hr up to what you can sell but don’t sell more then 8 cars in a 30hr time frame

30 real time hrs then 1 car per hr up to what you can sell but don’t sell more then 8 cars in a 30hr time frame
It’s 30 hrs from the first car you sell then it resets

Not sure if this has ever been addressed. Dont think its in OP. But the 60 min timer? Will that reset at 30? Never thought. Just sold a car at 504. 540 was the 30 hr mark. Was about to sell 2 at 545 then thought o wait.... Prob hard to tell tho. Im waitin till 605 either way but would be good to know.

That's odd. Sure it was the same plate? You should've hit your limit and that plate marked as dirty.

From the OP:
  • A successful sale that matches both the vehicle model and plate text will trigger dupe detection.
  • Dupe Detection will block you from selling another vehicle for 30 hours and remove the option to change the license plate to a custom plate.
  • Although you can sell again after 30 hours, the previously stored information will remain.
  • In addition, each plate that has previously triggered dupe detect will be saved in an additional stat so waiting

That's a very interesting question.

Guess it depends in the order checks are made in the code but judging from how the OP is written, first rule is always don't sell more than 2 cars in 2 hours and then don't sell more than 8 in 30, which makes sense in a logic perspective of programming.

So, I'd say the first check is the quick sale and then the sales window check but that's just my conclusion, not a fact.

I lost my plates but can still sell more than one car what should i do

I'd say stop selling and wait at least 30 hours counting from your last sale. In the meantime you should understand why you lost your plates otherwise you'll end up fast in the 1 car club like many others.

There's many ways of losing custom plates: selling too fast, constantly selling above your current sales limit, selling same model/plate within the last 7 sales, selling a dirty dupe / invalid custom plate, etc.. I'd advise you to analyze your latest sales pattern and read carefully the OP. Maybe it's not too late to get your custom plates back.

I have been on "1 car every 30 hrs" since September 2017.

Unless R* change the rules again, you'll be selling 1 car every 30h at least until March 2020 since the repeat cap offender was extended to 30 months.

The only variable in this that may make a difference is two things, maybe they are nothing.

Even though both cars had 666 plates,
1. I have stayed in a glitched lobby until 2 days ago where I still had snow one the ground. I did a hard reset yesterday cause I couldn’t get my cars to show up in iFruit, still only some of them do, but I got a few cars to show up to make new plates for the rotation
2. Car 1 had the 666 plate visible, while car 2 I installed the rear mortar thing which covers the plate, even tho the 666 plate was there the plate was not visible...

Don’t know if that helps

Checked again today on the remainder of the Issy cars, still have my plate options, still have the ability to sell at the same sale price, and still haven’t got any kind of limit warning although I have only been selling 1 - 2 cars every 30 hrs (keeping it safe for now)

Yeah covering the plate makes no difference. Its still there. It's quite possible the code found for checking the last 7 sales is there but not active yet. I say this because a friend of mine was insistent he was going to carry on his working method when after hours came out. He sold around 30 ERCs with custom plates he had left. When I asked him about it he said he was only rotating between 2 plates and nothing had happened to him. I did report on it at the time but that was many months back.

Hi, I've been there, the "stayed too much in a glitched lobby" part, have you sold those cars there? that could be a possibility why. In my experience too much time in a glitched lobby or too much time in a lobby that you've been glitching a lot, even more if suspended app and repeat (without leaving that lobby) could start "breaking" that lobby, from personal experience and as an example: last time after a while (glitched too much same lobby), the game decided to stop loading any interiors, I'm talking about stores, ammu-nation, LSC, the doors inside my facility stopped working, was walking through them (ghost style).
My advice, if get too glitchy, and talking about personal and friends experience, the game probably will start doing things that could screw with your stuff. If that the case, and I know you risk getting patched, but close the app and clear your cache.
