For repeat cap offender (1 or 2 car sell limit) the 15 months is the recovery period right? (Unlike the normal 60 hour)
I’m just looking to recover mine

That’s what the OP states. I have an account that I fear will never be out of the one car a day club I have been there for over two years. Granted I gave up a while ago trying to lower my exploit level.Your best bet is to follow the OPs instructions and time will tell.

That was the old time Davey. Duration has been set at 1314002 for months in tunables. Remember when they doubled the time just before people came out from 15 months?

Ouch... I do remember but as I said I personally gave up on the one account I have in the one car a day club:frown:
The advice I usually give people should help them stay out of that. Once you’re in it will be hard to see the light of day again. S SwiftyOblivy please read the post above. It will be longer to recover than I previously stated. The next best thing for you to do is start another account and get in on the new best dupe... “Arena War Issi” they are worth $1.7 million. You can easily level up and gain substantial money to get started by going AFK for a week or so.
Currently I have been AFK using all arena war jobs. You can make $250k per hour if you play any bomb ball job and set the rounds to 7. One player must band their left trigger and the other band their right trigger. The player who is moving forward will win the match. S SuckmyNONgodmodeD thanks for the correct information:smile:

With this new Arena War Issi dupe going on, maybe just paranoia... but,

I have gone through all plates, I cant seem to find any that are the same, but you never know.
Se7enSins has provided MANY millions of duping for me, so thank you for that, and never been caught yet by following the guidelines.

As with this dupe and previous ones, I have always started with a vehicle that has a custom plate, then going forward on the vehicles i got from the merge glitches I would add a custom plate before selling it... I currently rotate between 10 of them JUST for selling purposes and usually dont sell any more than about 4-5 every 30 hrs..

If you have a dupe detected vehicle, does it allow you to put on custom plates before selling?
i have a feeling in the past, if the vehicle was dirty, it wouldn't allow you to add a custom/personal plate,

Thanks in advance

If you are dupe detected your custom plates and iFruit will be disabled.
I believe the current merge glitch gives you a fresh plate each time.
If you are concerned about plates you should have a custom plate on the original before you dupe.

I figured as much, thanks for the reply,

Starting with a fresh plate each time is very time consuming, I was using a similar method (obese's), however once glitched out I am able to keep merging cars without starting over at the CEO office each time,...

I'll keep an eye on the plates and I'll still add/rotate them as I sell..

Thanks again,

Why bother putting customs on the dupes at all if your getting a clean plate everytime? Just check that you CAN apply one and sell it with the clean random plate

Take a couple of days off to start fresh.
Going forward:
  1. 1 car per hour
  2. 8 cars per 30 hours

Right. No need for custom plates with a merge. You will have a fresh plate each time. If it wasn’t a merge only the original would need custom plates.
Should never have to change plates each time.

You should take a couple of days off and not go up to eight for a few more days. That would be safe. You best practice is to never see the daily sales limit message at all. You need to try to avoid that at all costs in the future especially if you have already seen it once.

Sounds like a good plan. As far as the other subject... why don’t you create a thread in the support section in the GTA forum so we can discuss it there. Don’t want to get off topic in this thread.

If you have custom plates , before you sell any cars go to plates and see if it allows you to change it before you sell it. If your plates are gone don't sell it, it's dirty. That method saved me a few times with older glitches. For example if you sell a car with a plate# 2223333 it will sell fine, go to sell a second car with the same plate of 2223333 it won't let you change your plates as they seem to know you are trying to cover up a dirty plate

But shouldn't really happen with the 2 person moc one going on now as it gives you fresh plates.

I changed the plate color and put a custom plate on just for the heck of it cause you can't see the plates on the izzi

It's a good idea to dupe several diffent cars now to get around the new anti glitch detectors.

Is this actually a thing?? I know it stores 10 last plates

It wouldn't hurt. I'm at the point I don't really care if I get detected I got tons of money and been selling nothing but retros for the past year and then nothing but 4 izzi's a day for the past 10 days and so far so good

But when I did the glitch for the wife I alternated between izzi's and the dominater just to be extra safe. If I put her in the dupe detection pool I'll never hear the end of it especially since she's broke after this update

Where did you get that number? 10 last sales.
That Mike G channel "This channel doesn't have any content". (as I'm writing this)
He mentioned in that video to come here and look the info (minute 1:05 ish). He said the same thing back on August, in his old channel (about mixing the car models). He even says that he doesn't know how many ("10 or 3 or 4" or "I'm not too sure").
  • Each sale stores vehicle model an plate text.
  • The last 7 sales are accessed when selling.
  • A successful sale that matches both the vehicle model and plate text will trigger dupe detection.
He doesn't even say anything about the plates
NicGore found evidence on the code of the game, that's why we know all that.
Since the system compares BOTH vehicle ID + text plate, it doesn't matter if you sell the same model but with different plates, you shouldn't be flagged.

It's being almost a month since the DLC is out, and I don't see as many people having problems and getting detected as the first weeks after the August update. So, unless there is solid evidence that the system has changed, the way I see it, is creating more paranoia.

Plus this:
I know that NicGore mentioned that and added it to the OP. I personally haven’t had an issue with that but that doesn’t mean others haven’t. I think when it’s especially pertinent is the addition of overselling. I know it’s in the code but like I said I don’t sell a whole lot per day and to be truthful at least concerning my PS4 accounts I usually sell dupes and frozen money deluxos/bombushkas/Oppressors. Maybe because I mix it up on PS4 I have less of a chance to be flagged.
On Xbox however I only sell dupes. I haven’t yet run into an issue since Nic found that in the code. Again it doesn’t mean that it’s not counting the plates from my last seven sales but at the pace that I sell it’s probably a non issue. I didn’t intend to imply you were being greedy it was just a general statement for anyone who is new to the dupe game which you are clearly not:wink:

Never sell back to back, no matter how separate are the sells (like you didn't sale for 4 days), bad idea.
He never mention one of the golden rules of selling dupes (if you have custom plates), always check before selling the car if you can change the plate.
Don't be greedy, don't over sale and I think you should be OK.

Good pointers here. I highly doubt there will be many more changes to the code in this area. They've got it pretty well perfected as far as minimizing support tickets, thwarting casual duping and finally fixing the old SP stock market glitch correctly.

Yes, ALL PVs, including planes in your hangar, including the Pegasus one ("remove option").
If it has a tracker, no matter the type of vehicle (car, plane, helo...) if you sell (or remove from hangar) count as a sell.
Read the OP about the FM cars, there are a little extra thing to know and keep in mind.

Except they fixed removing pegasus from hangar counting as sale after doomsday heist

Is there any effect from the naming option on the new Arena Wars cars? I got my first sell limit warning in years just from taking my new Arena Wars fully upgraded Mini Issi into LSC to see what the sell price would be, I wasn't even planning on actually selling it. This was after selling a Retro Elegy. I only sold one car that day and it was my first time playing the game in a week.

I've only been selling one car a day since then (only doing that 2 or 3 times a week actually) but I'm nervous now about trying to sell Mini Issi.

edit: I forgot to say that the Issi that I took in to try to sell to see the price on, I had left the name blank when I upgraded it. I also didn't change the plate. Right now I own two fully upgraded Issi's, one has custom RICHAF plates like all my other daily drivers.

That is gonna be my keeper and the first one will be used for duping. But I'm scared to "name" a car for duping.

edit 2: just sold my 2nd car today (after waiting 51 min). No problem. But they were both Elegy Retro Coupes. Kind of scared to try the Mini Issi.
