def install a fan controller, so you don't have them all running at blast haha. what's the power cable in the top left corner?

with corsair link you can change up the temp colors for the cpu cooler. for me I have low temps at a red, medium at a pinkish purple, and hot at green. i know... all turned around xD but the red goes better with my setup. you can do something like that to better match the cooler to the ram.

but yeah def looking forward to seeing the specs and other pics. looks very awesomem8

Is that the Corsair Spec Omega case? That was one of the ones I looked at when rebuilding, I do love your colors, i'm still trying to get mine the way I want them, I have RGB strips that don't seem to be working so need to check on them before I get everything perfect.

I already did  It's in the back and has all 6 case fans linked to it, for reference the bottom and side are both intake whereas the top is exhaust. The 6 fans are the Corsair ML120's which are good for static pressure because there are dust filters so the higher pressure fans will do better at moving air through them, plus even at 1000+ RPM they are still pretty quiet.

Still messing with the corsair link colors, not sure what I want yet.

Oh and the power cable in the top left is the EPS cable, it provides additional power for the CPU. No harm in having it plugged in as it just provides extra stability even if it's not needed.

It is lol. Best RGB case I saw and I have literally RGB everything. RAM, motherboard, keyboard mouse, headset... Idk why I like it so much. I think I'm gonna upgrade to a 1080 tho. Black Ops 4 is having issues still with my current rig and it's quite upsetting. Periodic frame drops and it's literally a guaranteed loss 1v1

I have RGB everything as well, minus headset, case, and mousepad. With this build I was going for 'nice RGB but not over the top'.

Honestly i'd try to swing a used 1080ti if you can find one for a good price. I see base models for around $500 on r/hardwareswap

I've been debating grabbing BO4 now that Fortnite is going down the drain.

No mousepad either and I most likely will because if I'm already having issues then future games are gonna struggle as well. Tho Blops 4 is the only game to give me any hiccups. Still, I'd rather not have any.

Oh for sure, plus the prices are close enough that it'd be worth it IMO.

Here's the full release.

[BACKSTORY]

So this initial rebuild wasn't going to be this extravagant, I knew I was going to replace my motherboard, CPU, and RAM to improve performance but was initially going to carry over my PSU, case and GTX 1080ti. This rebuild was going to be 7 months ago with my tax refund for an 8700K, but decided to wait on the newest intel chips.

As time went on I decided might as well get a new case and build something truly beautiful. So I decided to replace the PSU with a modular one and get a beautiful case to go with it, I researched cases and when I stumbled upon the Lian LI PC-011 Dynamic I was truly in love, it was absolutely beautiful to look at.

The 9700K/9900K numbers were good, but I chose to go with the 9700K as I don't need the hyperthreading, thankfully got my preorder in right away and was part of the initial launch batches to go out.

The initial RTX 2080/2080ti release was disappointing and I had zero interest in upgrading, but someone offered to buy my 1080ti and I won a nice bet with a friend so I took a shot and snagged a Strix 2080 for a total of $50 out of pocket (worth it in my opinion). I got all the parts, slowly put it together over the past few nights after work/gym, taking my time to make sure cable management was tidy and everything looked nice, went to plug in the motherboard cable and it just wouldn't bend right so I snagged some Phantek Black/White sleeved cables, was slightly hesitant on the white part but I think it looks great.

The 6 case fans (Corsair ML120) are all set to intake with the H150I Pro RGB set to exhaust, the nice thing about these fans is even at 1000RPM they move a lot of air and stay quiet, I have them connected to a fan controller (Silverstone) and control it via Asus AI Suite. I opted to pass on the Corsair Commander Pro because it's way too overpriced and I don't need each fan to be controlled separately, they can all run at the same speed and be fine. I haven't decided what to do with the LED's yet, but I need to rearrange my setup so I can see them more and then mess with the colors.

So far airflow seems fine, CPU doesn't even touch 50C while gaming with the h150i pro set to 'quiet' mode, the lowest fan setting. The GPU doesn't touch 60C while gaming in it's stock 'gaming' mode.

Anyways, I digress, here's the parts list, benchmark and some pictures.

Nahhh yours is probably just as beautiful.
It's decent. Let's just say I need to upgrade my 1060 to a 1080..
