The chip gives the long green blinks most of the time but every now and then it will light up between the long blinks once or twice. This is with the ECC flashed to get the CPU key. I have let it run for 20 minutes without ever getting any connection to my router. I have tried with the video cable as well as HDMI without any difference. The missing resistor pads have been bridged for E and F and I have checked all the solder points on the board. I have reseated the postfix adapter a few times and this is the second chip and second postfix adapter I have tried. The other difference being that the other chip stopped trying to glitch after 5 attempts. I have left the MMC adapter installed and the crystal is disconnected from ground. It doesn't seem to be a problem leaving it hooked up from tutorials I have seen. Does anyone have any ideas on this?

Long/short pattern means it's trying to glitch
Yes the crystal needs to be ungrounded otherwise it won't boot.
Use a multimeter to check the postfix adapter post pad to GND, use 200K range, you sould get a value about 13~15
I'd try shorter wire on C
Double check your ECC is correctly created and writtern correctly

I guess thats still normal range. Try the other things I mentioned

There's once a similar board I had, CR4 Muffin doesnt work at all for me so I end up doing the old RGH2 with success.

You are doing S-RGH of course, you can also try CR4 Muffin.

If your getting 3 blinks and pause then u must be using 15432's timings . Which ones have you tried so far ?

Try these 2 if u havent already S2+_10_2 xsvf s2+_11_2 xsvf)

They are in srgh 2 /corona /best timings/ pack_2

I was hoping to get away with not having to flash the chip so I have only used the timing flashed from the factory. I will have to build a programmer from an Arduino and start messing with that side of things.

That's odd cause the stock timing should just give a single pulse until it boots . You say yours is 3 fast / pause ? Maybe post a video of what it's doing .

I finally got it to glitch into Xell with glitch2m and the default timing and got my key. Now it is just a matter of getting xebuild to build an image with glitch2m. JRunner keeps forcing the command line to glitch2. I'm not sure what JRunner does with the nand image and common files before it executes glitch2m so I can't run xebuild manually with glitch2m.

Because I apparently have a real stubborn 360 when trying to use glitch2. I wasted many hours trying to get a good glitch and then I tried glitch2m and finally got Xell to boot. It doesn't matter what type of glitch you use as long as the end result is a good boot up.

I finally was able to glitch to both the dashboard and Xell Reloaded with the default timing by using AutoGG to generate a bin with glitch2m. So glad that sh**show is over! Now to load some xexes!

where are you finding these timing files? did you have to buy them? I found the SRGH tutorial by JTR but those files in his release are 15432's.
