So I decided to flash my kv to my nand as I was having really bad kv life and thought that would help a bit. It appeared that I had a bad nand flash as my rgh wasn't booting so I loaded xell up and tried to reflash the orignal nand. At this point it doesn't want to do any flashing and just freezes at different points. Does anyone have any ideas?

Type: Falcon

Edit: Freezes at certain points within xell. I've just managed to get a little further than before and loaded into rawflash, which froze a few seconds later.

i think it has something to do with dying GPU?
That is probably a huge factor I can't dismiss it, but it was fine for a couple hours before I wanted to go online, hence the flashing of a new kv. Surely it can't be the GPU which is causing raw flash to freeze at: '*trying to make sense of uda, let's assume it's fat'

Are you referring to E74 falcon? And you did towel trick?

So you did the towel trick and it worked fine until now? Your xbox is toast bro, you can reheat it "reflow", but it will last for few days or a month at best.
Honestly I just need it to crawl on for 12 days, got a nice trinity lined up ready to buy. I'm honestly surprised this falcons lasted this long I can't lie, I've had it 3 years now can't even begin to imagine the suffering it's gone through hahah

towel trick wont work at this point. Kinda pointless, since you need to buy a heat gun if you don't own one, or bring it to a shop for a reflow, which is more pricey.

Think my best option at this point would be to be patient and wait for the trinity. I've only just come back to my modding and forgot how fun it was which will make getting a new console even better

you can try xclamp mod, which bruteforce puts pressure on the gpu die. Which can work, just find some screws that fit heatsink and some washers. But it don't know ho much you need to torque the screws.

Hahaha that looks alright^, looks like the gpu has fully given up on life

I'll give that a go tomorrow mate. What do you mean by torque the screws?
