Wassup people!

Going to be attempting modding an xBox 360 shortly. Done a lot of reading and have decided on a Xbox 360 with a Trinity Board

At first I was going to use a CR4 XL , but have decided to go with an Ace v3, a Viper Dual Nand, and a Trinity Memory Addon QSB. I really don't do live, but it is nice to have that option. I have a few questions before I take the leap and get all of this.

1-Using the Ace v3 along with a 6 prong header, I can dump the Nand with a JR Programer, correct?

2-When I install the Viper Nand board, I can add a clean and different KV to the console. If I were to go and use live with that (with mods) I would need stealth (like Ninja)?

3-I am looking to mostly play games off the hard drive. From my understanding, I need to have game on the main internal drive along with DLC and XBLA. I don't have a real interest in the homebrew games at this time. So that leads me to my questions:
A-Do all 360 games have to be on the internal to play or only for live?
B-I know the format of the dirves has to be fat32 and that has a limitation of 2tb drive. Can I swap the original drive with a 2tb drive? Can I also add a 2tb to the internal port on the USB board that I will put in? And last, will I be able to connect another 2tb drive if needed. Would be great just to put a 4tb drive internally on the added port and format into 2 partitions.

4-I am going to change the thermal paste, but is is smart to do:
A- Fan mod? I don't this is a big deal since the Slims appear to hold up well against RROD or am I mistaken?
B-Is it smart to Remove R6T3 to prevent future updates? When updating I will be using a USB stick to do so, correct?

Once I have this done and I have done some more reading on homebrew, I might have a few more questions. I know that I need J-Runner to start with and then Xell to get my CPU keys. After that, I will be using: XEX, FSD, Dashlaunch, Xbox EMU, and MOD menus (will leave that for last). Is there anything else I am missing or should consider? I do not mind reading if you think it will help and it is too much to explain.

Appreciate anybody who chimes in

  1. Yep, Ace v3 and JR Programmer would be all you need for a Trinity to RGH.
  2. What I'd recommend doing is this:
Write a banned KV to the RGH side, and don't touch the retail side.
That way, your original KV will never get banned, and you can always use the retail side.
Then yeah, all you'd need is a Stealth on the RGH side to go online if you wanted to.
  3. You can format any USB drive, up to 2TB, to use for the console.
The games can be played from the internal or external hard drive, it doesn't make a difference.
I'd recommend keeping whatever size hard drive for the internal, and just using a external USB Hard Drive otherwise.
No reason to swap the internal at all.
  4. It's always good to re-do the thermal paste, so yeah, go ahead and do that.
For a Trinity, no need to do a fan mod, don't waste your time with it.
Don't remove anything. You can accept game updates, but never System Updates.
Whenever there is a System/Dashboard Update, you'll be creating a new XeBuild Image using either J-Runner or XeBuild GUI.
If you got any more questions, feel free to reply to me.

Thanks so much Noobert

...is there a place where I can acquire a banned KV? My only option might be to just get a unbanned one.
