(I did a quick forum search and found nothing on a thread like this.. Apologies if there is one and I missed it.)
I remember Bo2 had a thread like this and I was really intrigued just reading everyones thoughts/opinions. Also, love to see people loving what I hate and hating on what I love in a game.

I shouldn't have to say this; but I will in hopes of limiting hate between users. This is a thread based on opinions, there is no right or wrong opinion.

I'll start off:
For not playing a CoD (unmodded/legit) since Bo2, I can say this game has so much potential. I really enjoy the war game mode and I hope that in future dlc's they add 3 war maps and 1 regular map. There is a lot of potential for really good gameplay.... If the matchmaking was based a little more on skill aswell with ping. (I miss playing with people from the UK and other various countries - like how Mw2 has it)
Leave a reply with maybe a few things you enjoy and a couple you don't enjoy.

This game is terrible. Probably the absolute worst Call of duty title yet.

I got it a few days ago. Upon first glance the game was terrible but now I can't put it down. It helps with 2xp weekend so I can rank up fast and get what I need in a jiff. War mode is awesome despite being a shitshow sometimes. I use it to grind up quickly.

The best thing about war is; it does not track your kills/deaths. So you can go 2 kills with potentially 80+ deaths in a round of war and it won't affect your K/D ratio. (Plus the average of like 15k-20k xp without 2xp does make grinding pretty easy without being too easy.)

Good game they did a amazing job on the campaign, though I haven’t really gotten into it as much as other COD games.

I think the campaign is kind of short, it is interesting though!

It's been fun since release though the amount of bugs are pretty amazing. I'd also swap War for a Moshpit or Groundwar any day of the week. With war I'm constantly matched with players on the other side of the globe so I'm either wasting everyone or shooting Nerf bullets.

Lacking a lot of features that were promised at the start of the game, map design might be the worst it has ever been, weapons are fun to use but overall I think the hype killed the game.

Im not sure how hyped it really was, I wasnt actively gaming in the months coming up to the release. But it did have a really piss-poor launch. I think that's what killed most of the fans/players off the start. They had to remove so much in order to make it playable and they are not adding it back in quickly. Paint jobs are still N/A. Most headquarters still don't have the flak gun. I play solo in war most of the time, and I have fun just being able to die a million times and not have it track. (I'm going for chrome in order to keep me interested in the game)

I play WW2 until I get frustrated then hop onto fortnite. Once I get frustrated on fortnite I hop back onto WW2. Rinse and repeat process, I dont want to get bored of fortnite so I'll hop onto random games like Minecraft or older CoDs, or mess around with my RGH.
Fortnite has a lot more going for it at the moment.

Besides all of the issues the game had at launch and still has, I'd say it's a decent Call of Duty game. Needs more maps for sure though.

Fortnite was out before Call of Duty WWII.

Every since COD4 I personally think it’s gone down hil, went too futuristic then back to basic, prefer boots on ground but the guns are weak in my eyes, if it’s not for everyone exo boosting in the air it’s people sitting in the most stupidest place waiting for people to run past, not saying they are rubbish if they like playing that way then it’s their own choice, campaign is boring, zombies just as bad, overall I don’t like playing it but personally after playing COD for so many years I still go out and buy the game and play it !

Not a huge fan, haven't been majorly impressed with any CoD since Ghosts.

Something seems lacking in it but can't figure out what.

For me, CoD WWII is good, but definetly not great. I'm glad I bought it though and I'm actually having more fun with it than I thought I would. I've been playing lots of Souls games, so it's nice to have a casual arcade shooter to hop into for some easy fun.
worst Call of duty title yet
Worse than IW and AW? To me, those are the lowest as Titanfall 2 does what they do on a much better level (at least for me).
War mode is awesome despite being a shitshow sometimes
It all depends if people know how to PTFO. Not as fun as some Battlefield game modes, but gotta admit I really enjoy it too.
did a amazing job on the campaign
Eh. For me the campaign was decent. Not amazing like WaW, CoD 4, or MW2. Some of the missions were just too narrow. You couldn't think outside the box in most spots. I tried to use a bazooka to take out a machine gun nest in the distance and the rocket just flew up straight into the air (people put this on YouTube). The characters were alright I guess. I do remember them, so that's a plus. I enjoyed the undercover mission but it was too short. I will admit though, the mission "Hill 493" was epic. Some shortcomings though throughout the whole thing were just where you would do something as simple as opening a door and a scripted event would occur. You lose control of everything and have to watch your character do stuff.
That whole train wreck sequence was dumb. It took a good 3 minutes for it to finish crashing.

Turret segments are not fun, even when doing them on a Jeep in WWII.

The whole conflict about his brother being attacked by the wolf could have been used so much better by not revealing that's what happened until later on.

I will say though, I thought Pierson was a well written character. I figured something happened to make him so callous, but I didn't expect that it would be him disobeying orders to save some of his men given how it was said that he was just reckless and got his men killed.

Saint Marie Du Mont. I despise that map. For me, the rest of the maps are okay/alright. However, for whatever reason I find Flak Tower, Aachen, London Docks, and Point Du Hoc to be enjoyable. I'd go so far to say though that Anthropoid is one of the best maps CoD has seen in awhile. Valkyrie is also good.
Nazi zombies bleh its alrig
zombies just as bad
Having played zombies since WaW and completed every Easter Egg in BO1, BO2, and BO3 except Shangrila and the second half of Moon, I can be sort of harsh with zombies. Personally thought Exo and IW's zombies were garbage. CoD WWII's zombies has me oddly happy though. As I've said elsewhere on the site, you can really tell with the zombies maps that some of the devs worked on the first Dead Space game. The horror vibes are there. Darker, more grit, etc. Not to mention, the boss design in TFR is just sinister. One beef I have with it is the whole dumb "jump scare" noise you hear whenever one zombie comes into your character's view. It's dumb because it is overused. E.G. I know it is the end of the round and we have one zombie left. I turn and see that zombie and I hear that noise and my character gasps and poops themself even though I knew that zombie was there before it was on-screen because I could hear it. One other sort of thing I noticed is that it is almost too accessible. You can take a lot of hits and armor (though progressively expense) is pretty easy to manage. On the upside though, I love the variety of zombie types they used in TFR. Wish the new map had some more new variants than what it does but that's alright.

War is fun, even if the team doesn't play objective. I can't play pub, too many campers, but at least this kinda forces people to play with more aggression. If the team doesn't play, the game ends sooner which means I can grind more double xp. I'm not a K/D person at all, but playing public matches gives me major rage.
