Hey guys,
First post here.
I'm looking for an offline mod menu for my RGH Xbox 360.
I'm very new to this so I rather use a modded title update as that would be the easiest way to install, right? simply copy and paste into my content\000000 directory and load the game, right?

Is there any working download links to a good offline mod menu or trainer?
All the TU files I've been searching for no longer work as they were hosted 3 years ago :frown:

I won't be taking my console online at any point. I just want something to make my single player game new. like turning off ground friction for cars, god mod, flying, teleporting, and money.

any help would be really appreciated

Thanks

When I was messing around with GTA V (forever ago) like on TU9 ages, the mods were mainly common.rpf mods.
Then I think there are Dashlaunch plugin mod menus up to like TU20+.
Might want to look into Chr0m3 x MoDz's mod menu as an example of this. I think it was a really big deal back then (or still is? I have no idea)

And I don't know when they started to build mod into the TU containers. I never did that, I guess I wasn't around for long enough. I really didn't follow GTA V expect in the early days.

But anyway, all the mod formats should be very easy to install, just copy and possibly replace one file, or set as a DL plugin.
Or I think some more special stuff was built straight into the xbox360a files or something. I guess they're a bit higher effort.

And if you're looking for just a normal TU container (nothing built into it) just go here:

Thanks for the reply
I've seen 3-4 youtube video's where the user just put's the modded TU in his rgh (overwriting the original) and that's it.
I had someone else mod and set my console up (as i just wanted to copy all my dvd's onto a 1TB hdd).
The RGH boot's straight in Aurora, so doing the "plugin" method is way over my head. I don't know if dashlaunch is on my console or not (i would guess no), so doing a simple TU copy and paste makes sense to me.
I really don't want to dig into .ini's or plugins and risk screwing up the work the guy did (who is across the country).
which is why I was hoping someone might have a TU mod update link I could use (all the one's on youtube are broken mega links, too old)

since my console never goes online, using an old TU should be fine right? as there's no need to update as that's only for online purposes, right?

thanks again for the help. i really appreciate it

No luck :frown:
I put the file into the correct directory and the system wouldn't read it.
I found a "30 menu's in 1" TU on youtube. I was able to install that one and it loaded the game, but even then, I couldn't get ANY mod menu to open up.

Am I doing this right? I'm just putting the TU file in the content\0000000\gamefoleder\000b000 folder
is that all I need to do (besides going into the game setup menu in Aurora and updating the title?
Can't get a mod menu to pop up using the 30 in 1
and I can't get the system to recognize the console trainer TU at all.

I'm just looking for a quick drag and drop solution here for offline mod menu's

sorry i'm a noob.

Ended up using a F***er mod from a tutorial on youtube. that is working, but the link provided above doesn't work for me. the system doesn't recognize it as a valid TU.

It should work fine as it is the one I use. Make sure you have all DLC except ill gotten gains.

I have the collectors edition. So I should have all the dlc?

You need dlc for a mod menu to even open up?

I'm using the plugin method now as it works and this one doesn't.
Thanks for the help

There's no reason to be afraid of "screwing something up", there's nearly nothing you could do that would actually be bad for your console.
And we can help over here, you don't need to think of some "guy across the country".
If you have console problems, post in the Xbox 360 Support section.

But yeah, you need to get started with learning.
Here are two good playlists, the upper playlist has updated videos of the old ones.
Once the upper playlist runs out of videos, take a look at the one below it. It has a bit older videos, but they're still all very good and you can learn a lot from them. If you have any problems or questions, once again just post a thread in the Xbox 360 Support section.

Check video #2 to learn about DashLaunch.

And more about your problem:
Just to make sure, the path to the TU containers is
\Content\0000000000000000\545408A7\000B0000\
Just delete everything that there is, and put in the one you want to use.

And about DLC, since you're offline I don't think it should matter whether or not you have any DLC.

And about your TU question, yes it doesn't matter what TU you are on, but mods are built for a specific TU, so you're going to want to use the TU your mod requires. But yeah, if the mod is built into the TU container, you'll automatically be on the correct TU.

Thank you so much, Ox. I really appreciate the hospitality.
I use to mod the original xbox's but haven't touch anything since. the entire rgh process just sounds overly complicated, and I had a guy mod my 360 for me.
Just digging around with .ini files really makes me scared that I'll prevent it from posting lol.
Thanks for kind words and encouragement, as well as the links.

Yeah, my path's are the same as you listed. The TU just doesn't get recognized by the system. I literally just downloaded it from the link in that post and ftp'd it into the folder you listed.
When I go to the title update section (in Aurora) nothing is there. When I boot into the original 360 OS, it shows in the file explorer as a corrupt update.

I followed the instruction on this video:

and used the TU27 version rather than the TU25 version he was using and everything is working now, I just found it strange that the other TU I tried wouldn't get recognized by the software?

I'm up and running now, so thanks again for the help. I just wanted to play offline in the story with some crazy funny stuff happening haha.

Hope you have a great week!
