Have an RGHd Jasper that I am looking to swap to xkey, but the USB dongle for the key looks like it would interfere with where the stock Wi-Fi dongle attaches. So I'm considering an internal mod. I understand basic soldering and such but instead of experimenting or having to worry about ruining my dongle and failing to fit it inside, curious if anyone has already done this?

You can put it up in the front usb port. Or, if you are really deadest, you would need to solder it the front usb ports. You can't have two devices on the same set of usb pins.

This DYI xbox 360 to laptop conversion from Engadget has a lot of valuable hardware mods and includes the how-to to solder the network adapter internally.

The network adapter mod picks up after the capacitor flattening section.

I didn't wanna do this because it would just be hanging by the cord and frankly I want this console to look 100% stock except for the switch and my red halo.

This is perfect. Will be watching these when I get home and planning from there. Thanks!

I'm gonna wait for my Xk3y to come so I only have to open my console once. And unfortunately that won't be here until Feb. 27th or so. I will be sure to show the finalized install once all is done.
