Hello Se7enSins,

First off I am new to modding and have done some research but I couldn't find anything on my topic. (This may sound stupid to you but I just want to confirm)

So I have a RGH Xbox Slim with 60GB HDD and its full. (Should have ordered a bigger HDD with the Xbox) so I am about to buy a 320GB HDD from amazon but was not sure if it has to be a certain HDD for the modded xbox? Or can I just take out the 60GB HDD and put the 320 GB HDD in the Xbox? and reinstall Xex Menu Free Style Dash, Games etc.

Thank you in advance

Is the 320GB HDD you're buying a USB one? Or an internal one?

I am a l little confused with all the series I don't know what you mean but that.

E EliteGamer687 It's always good to have as much storage as possible. I'm running out of space with a 500GB internal and a 1TB external.
So Should I just keep my 60 GB HHD then buy a 1TB external HDD? so I just install games on that?

They are the models of then Hard Drives.

So if you copy one of the WDXXXXXXX, and Google it, it'll probably show you a place to buy it from.

Ah Okay I get you.

If I buy this for example then I plug it into my xbox then can I just install games on this?

After you configure it in the settings, yes.

But again, you'd be much better off just getting a USB Enclosure/External HDD and plugging it in that way for the extra storage.

Hi, I hope it's ok to tag onto this question???

I can see the value of getting an external USB 1TB ++ drive, but if the home environment like a Mum or wife who is technically challenged (or young kids pulling on wires) and will damage the USB connection etc, you'd have to go with multiple 500GB internal drives, swapping them in and out according to what you're playing. But IF you have to swap the drives depending on who is playing or what you are playing, are there any issues when you come back to begin playing again? Do the saved games after you finish playing get saved on to the internal hard drive the game is on? The box doesn't get 'confused' about which drive is which?

Should you follow the general PC rule of leaving any drive 20% empty, or suffer drives slowing down etc?

Also, with an RGH box, regardless of a new internal or external drive, do you "only" have to connect it to the box, let the box set it up (format) and then add downloaded games (whether via wifi or FTP or other USB drive etc). What about all the programs I read about to make the games play Freeboot or GOD games etc? I'm sure I've seen a link to a U200b video in another post that goes through a number of processes that you must do to flash and prepare any new drive via your PC before putting it into the box to format (I can't understand why you go through the process of downloading the u2oob appz pak and installing various ones as well as creating partitions first on the PC when the XBox formatting will surely wipe out all that you've done, no??).

Or is what you're saying to do Noobert (no disrespect - I'm just trying to grasp the full process I need to follow as I basically want the same as EliteGamer) for what I believe are called Retail boxes meaning they've not been modded?

As for kids pulling on wires,I have my HDD's connected tucked away not in the open.
It all goes on the HDD you select to use, you can transfers the game saves and it shouldn't get confused. Shouldn't be any issues.
You can add games or items that way. Can you elaborate for the Freeboot and god games part you were talking about?(Bold'd the quote)
Yes, Retail consoles are unmodded, like one you can goto walmart and buy basically.

As an example, this is a post title (on a tor site) "[XBOX360] Bodycount [Region Free / Multi5] [GOD] [Freeboot]" & I'm trying to work out (as an example) what I would need to do to be able to play the game on an RGH box, if I got it. Region Free I'm assuming it'll be ok for NTSC or PAL & Multi5 is the kind of disk you'd need if you burn it to disc (or MUST you burn it to disk?).
