For a jasper it really don't matter. If you don't mind the sound, it won't hurt through.

Figure out where you can add power from the motherboard to a PC fan and install it on your 360. Ive done this in the past with consoles and it helps, isnt loud, and looks cool.

I would look on Ebay if you can find the stock (delta) fan for your console. Shouldn't be loud at all unless you have a 12v or 8v fan mod done.

Intercoolers (3rd party coolers ) and talismoon fans (rpm speed is lower than the 360 stock rpm) are all garbage. The nyko intercooler shorted my first 360 back in 2006 and they just restrict the airflow exhaust from the stock fans.

There are three different 360 stock fans for the phat.
1. Nidec (solid black sticker)
2. Suni
3. Delta

The nidec fans are the quietest stock fans (even quieter than then the talismoon fans) but have the lowest rpm speed. The suni fans are the loudest and they are loud! The delta fans are quieter than the suni but louder than the nidec fans but tolerable. The delta rpm speed is pretty good. Grab the nidec from ebay but definitely increase the default fan speed in the fsd to compensate for the lower rpm speed.

You can also use two 60mm pc fans to replace the stock fans. The vantech stealth 60mm fan is a good choice.

Replace thermal compound on the processors because this what really makes the difference in cooling the chipsets.
