So I'm planning on upgrading my build and looking for recomendations. I'm willing to spend about $300-$400 on upgrading. Feel free to throw me some suggestions.
This was pretty easy to build considering it was my first PC build, so adding new components shouldn't be too hard. The wiring is currently neater these are just older pictures.
Current parts in atm:
CPU: AMD AM3+ FX-4350 4.2 GHz
Mobo: MSI 970A SLI Krait
GPU: EVGA GTX 960 4GB FTW
Memory: PNY Anarchy DDR3 1600MHz 4GB(x2)
Crucial Balistix Sport DDR3 1600MHz 8GB
HDD: 120GB Patriot Blast SSD
HDD 2: 2 TB Western Digital Black
Case: Enermax Fulmo-Q
PSU: Raidmax 500w PSU

To be honest I'd look into getting a new CPU, CPU Cooler and Modular PSU. Your CPU is somewhat outdated and that factory cooler is obnoxiously loud (Trust me I know) and with all do respect your PSU makes your PC look like crap because all the cables are strung everywhere and not black/sleeved for some reason. But I am glad you decided to put some more money into it. I used to have that same motherboard on my old build and loved it. But as far as to what CPU and stuff it really comes down to what you'd like to spend.

I second the modular PSU. Won't really do much for you in terms of performance, but you could upgrade to like 750W one as well to be more prepared for future upgrades as well.

If you're looking more for things that will have a performance impact. I'd suggest maybe waiting until you can put out a little bit more money, and buy a Processor/Mobo combo that supports DDR4 and get new RAM as well. Depending on how beefy of a processor you want you could probably do that upgrade for $500-600. I don't really think upgrading your processor without jumping to DDR4 is a worthwhile investment.
