I think modding has started to die over the past few months and I don't think it will be as popular as it was in 2013 or something. I hope modding doesn't come about on the new gen consoles because it would seriously ruin it, especially after buying a console new for $300 maybe and getting into lobbies with people using aimbot, it would suck.

I like to believe it will and come back just depends on the effort put forward and how the community feels about reviving it.

100% agree with this statement. If modding on next gen became extremely popular, then i'd most likely quit. Imagine going into a GTA game, as you would on last gen, and getting blown up repeatedly by some 11 year old. I know that eventually it will become publicly exploited, I just hope they release another console before then.

As a modder on xbox 360, it definitely hasn't died out and that seems to be the problem. On last gen consoles the amount of modders is atrocious. Playing any moddable game on last gen is like walking on thin ice, there's a 40% chance of stumbling across a modded lobby, and 70% of the time, the modder(s) enjoy reading out IPs which results in you getting DDoS'd. The extremely sad thing is, majority of them are under the age of 13. Don't even get me started on the hopeless 11 year olds purchasing a console and then expecting the rest of the community to spoon feed them because they "want a jiggy menu on bo2!!".

In addition to where you said about the 13 year olds loving to read the ip's. They seem to love to try and hit VPN's offline then they get mad at you because you dont go offline and then they will try to derank or freeze you.

The Spoon feeding kills me like "Nah I just run a free charity..." but the IP thing really bugs me at times cause they read other people's IP to sound like a Internet thug to seem cool and the fact they pick on people with NO Experience on Protection its a low blow when that someone actually does hit them off while they're using a home connection (No offensive I like running around with a home connection to catch people for jokes) But :shifty: Bruh leave other people alone Cause you then find someone who you can't do **** and wonder why your **** was fried SMH:meh:

I am personally following the threads that involve trying to mod the current gen consoles. There will always be a flaw or a way to get something it was not intended to. Currently the modding scene on current gen hasn't caught up to previous generation. There has not been a console that has not been modded to my knowledge.

PS4 has been exploited. Tools, and menus have been made for it. Most people that have done it are on 1.76 PS4s. If there are any up to date exploited PS4s console they are not public. Xbox One has modding, but its only for gamesaves at the moment.
