Hey guys so I've had this build for about a year or so now and I'm thinking about upgrading. Only wanting to spend maybe 200ish. Any ideas on what I should get?
My Build:
Hey guys, 64G here and with the help of some members on here I have created my first PC build.
I didn't think to take pictures as I was building this.
I am going to use this PC for Gaming/Editing.
I am also picking up a 2TB HDD to having installed tonight.

This was pretty easy to build considering it was my first PC build.

As crappy as it sounds I'd look into getting a new case and cables and clean your build up and then go from there

I'd say get a 8320 or 9590 + good cooler (It's a 220w PSU so, you'll have to spend at least 50$ on a cooler alone)

Or just sell everything and get a new PC since the build is waaay outdated (mainly the CPU)

Yeah I'd prob do that for like a new color scheme.

Well what about new mobo + CPU combo? I mean can save up to get something better.

Wouldn't really be worth it since for the past 2 years, new CPUs have used DDR4 memory and you have DDR3 memory.

If you really want to just upgrade, just get a 9590 +cooler or 8320

From what I'm seeing, that motherboard has 6 SATA3 ports, which is plenty. Its a solid motherboard.

Just sell your system buy a new one. Upgrading your system will cost too much and need upgrade again.

For about 1000 you can build a bad *** rig that will last you years. I'd start from scratch personally. Get Ryzen and get performance and cost all in one now that AMD is back in the game. My Ryzen 1700x is great.
