I've been finding myself being voted out of sessions a lot recently and for no other reason than because 'I'm just there'. One dude voted to kick me, sent Mercenaries after me, put a $9000 bounty on me and took to the mic asking everybody to vote me out just to get across that he didn't want me in the session. Is there really any benefit from it?

Dudes, I get it. We're all trying to make money from our MC businesses - me included. Instead of voting for me to be kicked, why not try sending me a message to check if I'm friendly? Or maybe even if I want to help you guys out? Or better yet, just get on with your business, I'll get on with mine, and you'll get a bonus for me being in the session?

I'd have thought people would have grown up about this by now. Same goes for the CEO stuff too.

If they would remove the major ammount of bad sport being kicked gives you I wouldnt care but its the equivalent of blowing 30 cars up its why after 3 to 4 lobby kicks in a row ur kicked into bad sports

(ive tested this few times on fresh new profiles ) heck when I join a lobby now and see all.same ceo in a lobby small lobby I start up hostile takeover since as long as vip work is going you cannot be kicked then I.drive around and wait to see if I get the kick warnings and if I do then I kill them for trying to

If I dont I just leave as I dont wanna disturb their making money

I just have this tick from gta iv days about being kicked but now with the massive ammounts of bad sports it gives along with it I refuse to be kicked and will spawn kill anyone who trys when I mean them no harm

At the end of the day, if I'm being a **** and people decide to vote me out - usually during Fully Loaded and/or Sightseer - fair enough but it's **** when you just walk into a session and people immediately single you out for no good reason other than because they fear you're going to blow them up or something. On this game, I can't think of anything more juvenile.

When it happens again just start hostile takeover and u got 30 minutes of not being able to be kicked kill them for trying to kick u and before vip work is over then leave its what I.do
I look at it this way thete is no way to see just how close you are to dodgy player status (there should be) and cuz of that u gotta take every session kick seriously enough to not wanna go back I will never go back f that just jets in those lobbies plus ill be in there for 6 months (because of.the old days when bad sports was only like 15 cars total I.went in.there ALOT)

I only tend to get votes to kick when I'm being an asshat to be fair.

Why don't you split the lobby and empty it yourself? It's what I do when I want to supply my coke place, then I invite my mates.

If I'm trying to get on with my routine of resupplying/finding new sessions then I often can't be bothered. It's just irritating when you are trying to do this and mind your own business, and people immediately find it in themselves to consider you some kind of risk to them as though they are some kind of special snowflake who deserves exceptional treatment. I said this to a kid once and he actually said [and in all sincerity meant it] "I'm a CEO so you have to be a bit more respectful"

I find it hard to believe that ppl voted to kick because 'you was just there'.

My friend used to do it constantly whenever I was in a session with just him doing CEO work. It'd be me and him in a session by ourselves and then somebody would join. Without sparing a thought, he'd say, "vote to kick him" and I'd be like, "Why? He's done nothing wrong". His response was, "just because..."

In my case - and what prompted me to start this thread - I walked into a session and spawned in my Paleto Bay garage near to my coke business. Went to the Coke business and bought some supplies, waited outside about to start up 'Sightseer' and got the message saying 'Players are voting to kick you'. I looked at the player list and there were two guys in the same MC in the city, nowhere near me. Sent the dude a message saying, "Why? I'm not bothering anybody..." and he said, "Yeah" and that was it. I finished Sightseer, sold a car, my supplies arrived and when I arrived back at my business, I was kicked from the session.

The fact this still happens is astonishing to me; the paranoia of some people to think they're pre-empting something terrible happening. No, you wait. Show some respect and etiquette. Send a message. Alternatively, wait and see if somebody on your map gets ina Hydra. If so, they're probably not friendly. But don't report for no good reason.

Do you have a high modded rank or KD ratio? Can't think of any other reason for getting kicked just for entering a full lobby.

I once joined a session where two people where doing ceo stuff and they voted to kick me but not in a normal public lobby. I left before i got kicked, that's what i always do when i enter such sessions.

But i can understand it. Would do the same if i am just delivering 111 crates. If you join a private public session and don't leave it it's your own fault i would say.

Well, I don't know. They're relative terms, aren't they? I don't have a modded account (rank 435) and my K/D is 5.31. No idea if they're high or not because I don't really pay attention to either of them.

From what I know though - as in my friend's case - he doesn't even look at the level or K/D. He just sees them on the list and asks me to vote them out of the session. I'm assuming those two people did the same with me.

Well there you got it. People including me will think you are a cheater when they see that numbers and that's why they kick you...

Rank 435 and K/D of 5.31 looks modded. Not saying it is, but it looks modded.

Cheaters just ruin it for everyone.

I wouldn't say that's necessarily true. My friend doesn't look at levels or K/D's. These two guys in the session I was in probably didn't either - they just wanted the session all to themselves. I'd also argue that players with higher levels are more trustworthy too since they're probably likely to understand what it is you're doing and respect it, whereas lower rank players are careless and stick their noses in without really knowing what it is they're doing.

Beeing voted out of a "private" public session is a different thing. I know it can happen to everyone. As i said i can even understand it and would to the same if somebody enters my empty session when i'm just delivering 111 crates. Not for MC sales. Then i just finish it and empty the session again when done or when i am alone i will empty it as soon as someone enters. I don't trust anyone join my session when i am selling stuff.

It's up to R* to improve their game at this point and make it impossible to get kicked for nothing or after such a short time. You can't blame users for only using the tools R* gave them.

Sorry but when an account with high rank and high K/D ratio enters your lobby you don't think oh what a trustworthy player he will for sure respect what i'm doing and leave me alone you think oh **** there comes an ***hole that will try everything to f*** me up!

Why abusing? The function is to kick people out of a session. That's what it does so it is no abuse.

There are no rules when players are allowed to vote for kick anybody out of a session so it can't be abused...

Nah, this happens all the time. All I do is join session normally and there will be a ceo team that managed to get an empty lobby.
I join online, get put into their lobby, sit in my office for a minute and BOOM "you have been kicked from this session by other players". Didn't even get chance to go to my garage before being booted. Has happened many times. Concerning to me is that I would gain negative points and be placed into a bad sport lobby for this.

Happens in reverse to me all the time. I'll get my own little private public session set up and be minding my own business enjoying some redundant monotonous money making without full public lobby drama. Suddenly I'll get 2-3 people that got dumped into my loner zone and I'm kicked. I can only assume they see the opportunity to take over and have the session to themselves instead of making their own.
