How hard would it be to change the case on a Trinity RGH that has a demon chip?
Not hard at all.How hard would it be to change the case on a Trinity RGH that has a demon chip?
I already have a white shell but I am wondering how would I put the switch back onNot hard at all.
You can still buy Shells for them, it'll just require you to take apart the Xbox.
Ah the ground point is soldered, isn't it?I already have a white shell but I am wondering how would I put the switch back on
Im not the one that made it I bought it but gow would I get the switch off the back safely it is going through the USBAh the ground point is soldered, isn't it?
You can maybe slide it in between the USB Ports, but it'll be close.

Just be careful with it - The switch itself is just on a sticky pad.
I mean, realistically, if you have a soldering iron in the house that would be an extremely easy point to just solder back on.Im not the one that made it I bought it but gow would I get the switch off the back safely it is going through the USB
I dont want to make another thread about this so do you know what kind of HDD I would need to beable to have an internal 1 tb or bigger and still have it work on the retail side also?I mean, realistically, if you have a soldering iron in the house that would be an extremely easy point to just solder back on.
Otherwise, all you'd have to do is find a way to bend the casing back enough for you to just push the switch through the USB opening.

How to use
HddHacker supports two flashing modes, Auto and Manual. Typing HddHackr at a DOS prompt
will start auto mode. In auto mode all hard drives will be detected automatically.
In manual mode you can enter all the parameters used for flashing by hand.
The following help screen is displayed if you start HddHacker with a wrong number of
arguments:
HDDHACKR [C|D|F|R] [PORT] [DRIVE POS] [SECTOR FILE] [RESTORE FILE]
C: Create Partitions 0/2/3
D: Dump sector 16-22 from XBOX360 HDD to file
F: Flash Western Digital firmware
R: Restore Western Digital firmware
PORT: Port to send command to e.g. 09F0
DRIVE POS: A0 for Master, B0 for Slave
SECTOR FILE: Sector dump file e.g. HDDSS.BIN
RESTORE FILE: Firmware restore file e.g. UNDO.BIN
Example for create, dump, flash and restore:
HDDHACKR C 09F0 A0
HDDHACKR D 09F0 A0 HDDSS.BIN
HDDHACKR F 09F0 A0 HDDSS.BIN UNDO.BIN
HDDHACKR R 09F0 A0 UNDO.BIN
Actually, you might not even need to use HDDHackr.I know I could probably find this online but does any drive work for the RGH side?
If it is then I will use my 2 tb for RGH side and use an external for retailActually, you might not even need to use HDDHackr.
I know on the RGH Side, as long as it's formatted to FAT32, then it can be used up to 2TB.
However, I'm not 100% sure if that's the same case on Retail.
They added support so a 2TB hdd should work for both retail and RGH.If it is then I will use my 2 tb for RGH side and use an external for retail
I know but I thought they only added support on external I am talking about internalThey added support so a 2TB hdd should work for both retail and RGH.
Only way to find out is try it then, if not then use a externalI know but I thought they only added support on external I am talking about internal
2tb Support Is External Only For Retail.I know but I thought they only added support on external I am talking about internal
Makes you wonder why there even is a separate GND wire...Ah the ground point is soldered, isn't it?
Any 2.5" drive will work on the RGH side. If you want everything in one place, get an external one. Internal retail drives are limited to 500GB.I know I could probably find this online but does any drive work for the RGH side?
