There is nothing special about this tutorial. It's not really hard at all, but I have had quite a few people message me about how to use J-Runner with the new files. J-Runner has some serious perks as no special settings for Corona 4GB, ability to easily add CR4 and R-JTAG options. It's all around plain easier than Xebuild with a few extra perks.

This doesn't apply just to this dash, but to all dashes. I'm gonna assume that you already have J-Runner installed, so we are going to get right to the meat and potatoes.

1. Open J-Runner, click J-Runner settings, and uncheck "Enable File Checks/Downloads"

2. Open up xebuild folder, and click on files. You're gonna copy the dash files you want out of it. In this case, 17502.

3. Open up JRunner folder. Click on Xebuild. Paste the dash folder inside there.

4. Go back to the new xebuild folder, click on files, click on dlaunch. Inside there are two files. launch.xex and lhelper.xex. Copy those.

5. Paste those to the same folder as the dash files in J-Runner.

6. Open the J-Runner program and build your new dash.

I get the connection error on startup, I have tryed this : http://www.se7ensins.com/forums/threads/j-runner-connection-error.1549881/ but I still get the connection error, any advice on this, got a TX JR 2 Programmer.
Thanks Hect0r.
So is it just a connection error or is jrunner crashing. You can ignore the connection error as the jrunner servers are down. Thats why this thread was created, so you can manually add the dash files needed. If it's crashing, you need to download a different version.

Hey Huskerheaven

Thanks for this little tutorial, its very helpful and I don't see a lot of people really explaining this in as much detail as you have, so fist bump mate!

My question is I am in the process of trying this flash my NAND but one question I had was when you update the files xebuild and Dashlaunch files, would you expect to see the proper version being displayed in the bottom of j-runner?

I'm using JrunnerV3 (beta7) and still show them as xebuild1.12 & dashlaunch3.12 in jrunner instead of what I would think they should be showing up as 1.17 and 3.17 respectively?

I've dumped my nand and both were successfully matched, so I can only assume it's ok

No, it won't show at the bottom. It's only going to show the official release version that came with jrunner.

Disable your internet connection, start Jrunner, wait 30 sec, re-enable it.

What board are you trying to RGH and what chip are you using? There are some awesome YouTube videos that will walk you through the process step by step.
