I was wondering how I change my NAT type. All the things I've seen say that I have to log into my router to change it but I can't seem to find the login info for it. And I don't want to reset the router.

What's bad about resetting it?
And if you don't have the sticker on the back which tell the user & pass, Google your user & pass.
It's most likely
admin:admin
or
admin:password
tho. (Or maybe administrator instead of admin)

I've tried them all. I think it's one of the 4G hotspots from Verizon. All I see is a password. Plus is my moms router, not mine so I can't reset it.

I don't understand, why could you not reset it?
What's bad in resetting it?

It resets the wifi name, password, and all the stuff she doesn't want changed.

NAT for what? What is the model of the router?

Have you tried unplugging the router and then plugging it back in?
How will that allow me to be able to change the NAT type to open? Sorry if that comes off mean... Some things sound mean when they're not...

I believe it's a technicolor from Verizon. I keep seeing a notification online in gta saying my NAT type is strict, and it may cause lag.

If all that you have is a Verizon hotspot, you may not be able to change your NAT type.

What about one of those personal phone hotspots from AT&T?
I wouldn't think so. Getting yourself and Open NAT usually involves changing settings on your router, usually in the form of port forwarding or a DMZ. I don't think those hotspots have those settings that you can mess with.

When you reset the router it resets some settings, so when you reset it the NAT type changes to open. If you hold the router for 30 seconds or more then it will reset the password and all the custom settings inside the router settings webpage to the default settings that it came with when you bought it.
