So, it's been like this since 2013, the reason is, is because I had searched for hours, days, weeks, and months to find a fix for this. After going to TheIsoZone, and chatting with someone who knew about it, had me burn a DVD with this Hexen ISO, that didn't work, after that failed, I gave up. Now I reeeally want o get it fixed again. No error codes, just boots up to Default Xbox Logo, then black screen. Games won't work. Nothing. Please help! :frown:

Cynder Cynder I thought It was dangerous to remove the harddrive from the xbox? I'd be willing to have any way to check though. I've been told its a missing default.xbe. Maybe, Still no idea though. I can maybe open up the harddrive with a program on my computer? And add whatever files are missing, or if its corrupted and I need a new one?

if your wanting to keep it modded you might just want to get a new larger one and get that working on your xbox

Something similar happened to my Xbox. Turned out that the Xbox's DVD IDE cable had come loose and wasn't connecting to the HDD. If you decide to open your xbox up it might be worth just taking the IDE cable out of the back of the Hard & Dvd drive & giving it a quick blow :woot: .... in the connectors I mean.

If I remember correctly, when the HDD gets corrupt/bricked/broken the xbox will show a code.
Here's a list of the codes http://forums.afterdawn.com/threads/xbox-error-codes-explained-go-here-first.373255/

Has it ever turned off by itself? Could be a heat problem. It seems more like a hardware problem to me rather than software. It didn't sound too healthy when booting up.

Edit: Could you make another video and record the sound the Xbox makes booting up?
