Okay so you put the file into the dev_HDD0/GAMES then on Multiman you hit Refresh but the game isn't there ?

I found a solution which seemed to help many people but I cannot test it currently to see if it works because I am not home at the moment, but try doing this.
How about trying to open it in the MultiMan file explorer. Go into the GAMES folder and open the EBOOT manually, then multiman should load it and you should be able to play your game.

Or you could enable webMAN games which will give you a folder on your XMB Menu that says webMAN Games and you open it up, hit Playstation3 and the game should be in there.

The game didn't have an eboot when I transferred the game. Do you think not having the eboot is the problem?

Yes. With no EBOOT , the game won't load properly.
I had accidently deleted the EBOOT.BIN on Grand Theft Auto V, it didn't load at all.

EBOOT.BIN Files go into two locations :
/dev_hdd0/game/BLES***** or BLUS*****/USRDIR

Then into :
/dev_hdd0/GAMES/BLES***** (or BLUS*****)-[Name Of Game]/PS3_GAME/USRDIR

Alright thanks for the help!

Please close this thread.

No problem, and just keep it open for the time being, if you happen to get the EBOOT.BIN and it works just reply back then have it closed. If you find one and it doesn't work , Ill look for another solution.

Also, I just did some research I googled Fight Night Champion EBOOT.BIN and it seems like most people say that game require System Version 3.55 in order to work.
If anything, you might just want to attempt and find a Fight Night Champion PS3 Torrent which will give you all the files needed and it will work with no problem, unless it requires version 3.55. But I don't think it should, I can't vouch on that one.

Wait a minute, you're saying the game shows in Multiman but not on the XMB Menu ?
If it doesn't show on the XMB Menu but you Clicked on it in Multiman, then on the XMB menu hit " /app_home/PS3_Game " and it should load it.

No, it shows the BLUS folder in Filezilla and in the Multiman file browser but doesn't show up on the screen where I can pick the game I want to load. Sorry if that's kind of confusing.

I put an eboot in both locations and still didn't work. Ill probably have to resort to downgrade to 3.55 to play the game I guess.

I might have a solution !
Go onto multiman then go to SETTINGS then scroll all the way to the bottom and Enable BDROM-Emulator and restart your console and it should work .

If what I suggested above doesn't work let me know I might have one last suggestion to attempt to fix this

Still need an eboot to have it launch. PM me and I can provide you with a link to my original eboot vault, if not I still have the original ISO back from my Cobra ODE days.

What does an ISO do? I don't think I'll need an eboot since there's already one provided in the folder.

If the eboot is corrupt then it will keep from launching the game. Try using PS3 ISO Builder (with the JB Folder option) to check to see if any files are corrupt. I use mostly all original files and never have had any problems. ISO files are a digital copy of the disc in that format instead of the regular jb format that you usually see. If you are enabling the BD-ROM emulator, the game you are trying to run should be an ISO. That program I mention can also build the ISO with or without the IRD from the jb folder you have.

In multiman go to the game, hit TRIANGLE on it and then go into Game Settings [ I think it's Game Settings ] and check off these two options :
BD Mirror + external ( or internal ) depening on if your game is on the HDD ( Internal ) or External hard Drive

I recommend getting the EBOOT from DeeLaRoc DeeLaRoc , because the game won't work without the correct and a non corrupted EBOOT
Thanks that helps me
No problem, doing that usually solves most problems when games boot and show just a black screen or sometimes they don't boot at all.

I might start a link here to my vault since I've left Maxconsole. I collected a ton of eboots, licdat and param files and have uploaded them to my personal vault. I'll do it when I get home from work, start a new thread, it helps jb ps3 users and ps3 ode alike.

1) You must not have a eboot
2) Try booting from eboot directly
3) Torrent it again.
4) Files are currupted
5) You might have forgot to select BD Mirror & etc.

I had a similar problem where the game I installed via PC to PS3 wouldn't show up in my multiman app.

Heres the things I did to fix this:

1). Make sure you installed your PS3 Game file in the "GAMES" folder, not the "game" folder.
2). Go over to multiman>settings>BD-ROM>Make sure it's enabled
3). Install Webman games app to help you access your ps3 games easier
4). Try installing the game again with the act.dat and idps.hex files in it

Again, this is what I tried to fix the problem. If any of my solutions didn't work, then good luck

It was because he had a corrupted eboot, we helped him solve it a long time ago bud.
