This is more of a router problem but if anyone happens to know a fix let me know.

I have a medialink router and since the begining of time I have had issues connecting to any online services with it. I can play games on my regular consoles but both my rgh(Trinity) and rgh(Falcon) cannot connect to any of these online services when I try.

I know its my router because If I connect to my other network it works fine but thats not a permanant solution because neighborhood does not work well over wifi.

I have tried disabling the routers firewall and setting the local ip to bypass the firewall but I can't seem to get anything to work. Port forwarding works fine too, it just seems to be when connecting to an xbox live service provider.

Anyone have any ideas? Appriciate the help.

Well, you can try the 3 things I tell everyone.
  1. Clear Cache.
  2. Factory Restore your Network settings on the Xbox.
  3. Make sure Liveblock and Livestrong are disabled in Dashlaunch.
No, None of this worked. I even just bought a new netgear router and it won't connect. But again it works perfectly fine over my upstairs wireless connection on that old netgear router. I don't understand. At any point I remove the eithernet cable it connects flawlessly to the upstairs wireless and is able to communicate with the xbl hacked services.

My network is split btw, so each router has its own ip and doesn't rely on one another to connect to the internet.

New router, my ISP has assigned a new IP and again my regular xbox's work fine :/. I am really getting aggrivated here. It has been like this for over a year and it continues to cause my issues. No one else has had problems with routers?

Thats real strange. I don't know what else to suggest tbh. Funnily enough, the same thing is happening to me too now. :/

I allow all new wired mac addresses by default. Wish home routers had more information in thier logs than just upnp connection from 10.0.0.4..... Going to try and exchange the router i just bought for another...
